Jim Jones used to do all these things and more. I guess he learned from the best that there is when it comes to knowing how to emotionally manipulate people. The UPC is extremely good at manipulating people and their emotions.

Here's a query I have never had a trinitarian respond to and (surprisingly enough), have never seen a man like David Bernard ask.
It goes like this: The trinity doctrine focuses on the plural aspect of Elohim. Also, it claims that "each god person" is Elohim. If that is true, by what "rule" do they STOP being plural Elohim and revert to SINGULAR Elohim? Because, if "they" are all plural individually (yes, I know, like ALL Things trinitarian that is non-sensical), that means the 3 are 9, and the 9 are 27 and on and on into infinity - like the eastern gods & idols. So you see, this is not only wrong, it is the very tool of God's ebnemy & ours and, as such, it diminishes God in a way so belittling as to be horrific.

Name more than often means 'character of', it's not a collection of letters arranged to make a sound nor is it a verbal incantation. "The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand." Do you give yourself something that is yours? Your logic and ability to reason is weird.

The whole passage is IN THE PAST. In it we can see a "WORLD vs. JESUS" CONFRONTATION : in this confrontation Jesus succeeded in knowing the Father, whilst the world FAILED instead. But WHY did the world fail ? The easy answer is in the same passage : the Father is "BEFORE the foundation of the world". Since the Father is BEFORE, He is antecedent and therefore cannot be known by the world: in other words Father and world did not exist at the same time. This means that Jesus WINS this confrontation: on the contrary He is ABLE to know the Father. Why? Of course because Jesus is OLDER than the world and was thus able to know the Father. The meaning of all that is extremely important : the almighty GOD only existed in that remote past and "No one has ever seen God" (John 1:18). This is why the Father is NOT AVAILABLE here: the only way to "somehow" see the Father is to SEE JESUS (see the answer to Philip).
Thus, now Jesus is ALONE and has "all things into his hand" (John 3:35). Indeed "The Father judges no man, but has turned over all judgment to the Son."(John 5:22).

The mysterious "Father" and "spirit", if they are allegedly distinct from Jesus himself, who are they? Revelation 13:4 says, "And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?" The dragon (Satan) is a spirit (an evil one) and the beast claims to be "The Father", which is how he exalts himself above all that is called God or sits in the temple showing himself to be God. Trinitarians are on the brink of apostasy because of the "trinity" belief, because they don't know who Jesus truly is.

Why did JESUS say that the FATHER is Greater? Because The FATHER is greater in Authority since HE IS THE FATHER.

Is it proper to believe the fleshly suit God used is not to be worshipped, but rather Jesus's Spirit which is God that dwelled in the body of Jesus. I find it wierd that I am to worship a human and call him God. When its obvious God is beyond that. Thanks for any insight you have.

Almost ALL Oneness haters attack with John 17:3. What they don't know, or are ignoring, is that Jesus was referring to all of the OTHER little 'g' gods that were so well-known and spoken of in that day. EVERYONE had a god at that time. What Jesus was saying was that the Christian God, the God of the Bible, is the ONLY TRUE God.

He was most certainly NOT saying that HE was not God. The fact that the Bible teaches that Jesus is God throughout, and that He Himself declares to BE God, proves that they are misinterpreting John 17:3. God bless.
