Omg! I also have a MR MISERABLE ,MR BITCH , YEAH YEAH MR DRUNK ASS LICKER!!!! Lol… This punk is living in his mom’s backyard in a used to be haters shack! After he made his 93 yr old mother sue my moms ins company he ends ups with a new travel trailer slide outs and displays his 70 in new television! Hell it’s as wide as his trailer! Lol get this Turbine Guy, he also has a brand new 4 door Chevy 1500. Long story short he told his mom to unload her groceries anyway and if my dog(s) attacked her he had something for me!
I’ve never done or have said anything to this d I c k lick! How the dogs got out is a looser took my kindness and ran with it! I went to get step son 1 block over and he had gone through my bathroom stuff and then opened my bedroom door (where my dogs where at) but before that he opened my front door and back door. So two of dogs attacked his sorry ass. Then heard my elderly nelda scream as he’s in my bedroom looking for my pain pills and took my coin collection plus before he went to gather my dogs inside because the cops where going to shoot my two babies. They’ve never been out front or had anybody they knew . So they where scared and not safe . That’s the worst 8 months of my life not knowing if I was going to get my babies back. Not going to lie I have 8 7 -18lbs and had my German shepherd with me. He let it be known that he has full view of this block plus the cultasac ( next block w/a circle) lol
For me to never call the cops again! His daughter ran her mouth to a gangster and followed her back for the liquor store and almost ran her and his drunk ass over! speedy yelling and drama they seem to lug in that life. So then he called animal control on me and reported that I had more than 4 dogs on my property! Only way he knew /saw is his cameras are constantly on me and other neighbors properties! Plus pics he took of my babie that didn’t bite his mom! To show in court! 8k is what it cost me. Plus!!!!
Plus several more ordeals hes concoct it because me and my ex aunt do not like each other then he decides to call the city and complain about my grass being too tall my backyard grass being too tall that was $482 because they charge me to cut my yard Plus, I walked in my house one day and found three of the puppies dead in my living room no blood they were blow they were about it no gunshot nothing ever dead laying next to each other so this is kind of neighbor I have. I haven’t lived there in a year and boy I want to shoot this prick because I have no privacy in or at my own home.

I recently set up my first surveillance system... tried to buy quality cameras (not Nellys) ... I was surprised and disappointed when I could not recognize faces or read license plates lol.

My neighbor’s audio warning on their cameras are pointed at my yard and the street. They sound off "You are being recorded" every time a car drives by, animal runs through or i use my yard. Cant sleep, can I do something about this?

I do live in Canada 🇨🇦 which falls under the one party consent laws.
I was recently test driving a customers vehicle alone and was unaware his dash cam was recoding audio within the vehicle. It was in some sort stealth mode as there weren’t any flashing lights nor screen to make me aware
I was having a bad day to begin and this was a difficult customer to begin with.
Thinking I was alone I verbally vented a few explicit term about him. Again I thought I was alone on the test drive.
Not my finest moment
Long story short he went back and sent the recordings to my manager and is also threatening to post them online.
I’m I safe to assume that he’s breaking the law as he was not part of the conversation in order to provide one party consent.

Someone else mentioned it. Add motion detector lights to capture a sharper image. Thieves don't like light anyway so it is some security in itself. Just don't place the light where it will blind the camera.

Will upgrading the factory drive in a DVR with new WD Purple Pro 7200RPM HDD make it less slow and more responsive as far as viewing recordings? Also, can I use a 12TB HDD when the limit appears to be 8TB so does it only use 8TB of the 12TB or will it not work at all? Thanks!

#9 is slightly off … you can get details that aren’t there in the original picture based on image processing algorithms but I am not sure you can use it as proof in a legal case. Processing algorithms have come a long way to be able to guess
#8 - the issue I believe is that the camera is setting exposure based on the brightest light it sees. If the camera has the ability to set the focus point and adjust exposure accordingly it should be ok.
But all points you made are valid … better to fix at installation than work around it

When you moved the placement of the IR camera in the ceiling tile, why not turn the ceiling tile 180 degree, instead of moving the camera to the other end?

If you need real professional security cameras then absolutely follow this. If you’re a regular home owner and are willing to spend extra money for ease of use and features then ring, arlo, etc is the way to go. If you invest in mesh Wi-Fi and ensure all cameras have strong connections AND you also have a fast internet connection I would recommend Wi-Fi cameras that are hardwired for power.

I stayed interested in the video but was disappointed seeing the shoddy workmanship in the wiring and yes even the paint on the exterior of the building. This reflects poorly on the professionalism you are attempting to project.
