ОтветитьWhy don't they make 5 liter v twins or 2 liter v8s? Why aren't all engines i6 for natural balance? Would a 5 liter i6 make the same power as a 5 liter v8?
ОтветитьAs a female this is the BEST explanation I ever heard 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 unlike others😒
ОтветитьOn a four stroke engine cycle, at 1000 RPM would a 6.0 liter engine consume 6000 liters of ‘air/Fuel’ volume or would it he half that because every other stroke is a power stroke ?
ОтветитьStill could’ve made it more simple then this
ОтветитьNow I'm trying to find examples of similar engine sizes that have different numbers of cylinders...
ОтветитьHope he doesn't get kicked out of the club for letting people actually understand the answer to the question they ask every time you go to the autoparts store. 😂😂😂
I was always imagining some formula having to do with engine oil flow or something weird that made it a different number from the amount of oil I needed for an oil change. 😂😂😂😂
Thanks dude I really learned a lot. I'm starting to learn about engine's because I'm really curious about it and I love cars, this significantly help me.
ОтветитьThis was absolutely brilliant! Perfectly clear, no dumbing down of the facts and with an engine on display. Well done and thank you
ОтветитьHey man, quick question: which variables result in a more powerful/agile engine? I know that there are several for each part but it's all very confusing😅
ОтветитьThank You Steve Wilkos
ОтветитьThank you for this simple, easy-to-follow explanation
ОтветитьThanks man
ОтветитьDid not expect to hear the number pi 😂
ОтветитьSUPER SUPER SUPER HELPFUL ❤
ОтветитьAt laaast i learned this , i watched a couple of videos but i think i've never understood this.
ОтветитьThis video is underrated. Most straightforward explanation I got.
ОтветитьDang!!! Never in my thought "LITTER" was the litteral meaning of a 1000cc displacement engines. Kudos to you sir, thatt was straight and simple! Legit💯💥
ОтветитьHow is 7,771.69mm squared? When I do the math it comes out as 7,771.69625 someone please help
ОтветитьThank you for explaining this.
ОтветитьThank you for explaining that formula, although I will admit there’s no way I could solve that formula even with a calculator. 😂
ОтветитьIs their differences thats what we want to kno not cauculation In size
ОтветитьThis was swell, why people still use imperial is beyond logic and contrary to freedom.
ОтветитьFirst thing he says is the physical size of the engine has nothing to do with the names like 350, 5.7L, etc. Then he says the formula includes the area. That is a direct measurement of a shape. May not be a big deal to everyone else but that is contradictory.
ОтветитьLet’s make something up, let’s calculate the ACM or ‘active cubic meters’ meaning the amount of engaged cubic meters firing at the engine
ОтветитьI'm very familiar with automotive stuff so i knew it but this a very good explainer👍
ОтветитьWTF.. stupid me thinking each cyilinder is of 5.7 litres in Volume.. so whats the difference between 4.8 L v6 and 4.6 L V8? Why V8 in this case has higher HP and torque, even though it has smaller displacement? Kindly teach us.
ОтветитьGood evening, I would like to ask you a question, the oil pump of a hellcat 6.2 can be installed without any problem to a ram 1500 engine, 5.7 2022, do I need to make a modification to install it or does it fit perfectly? I saw your video and now I'm worried my vehicle is new it is working perfectly but I would like it not to have a problem in the future
ОтветитьWell explained
Simply
How small displacement engines with make more hp and torque
Like porsche’s flat 6 with 3745cc
Make more hp than bmw’s 4.4
Can anyone help me 🙏🏻
I was thinking only in terms of diameter.
ОтветитьI get it now , thank, I am glad I got the 283 , now I feel better .
ОтветитьIs it 5.7 liters each stroke?
ОтветитьWhy multiply by 8 and not 4? I though the engine has 4 cylinders? Sorry, I'm still learning
ОтветитьHelpful thanks. 🙂
ОтветитьI never felt more responsibility to like and comment on a video than engine explanation videos
ОтветитьThanks for the video , being thinking about getting into project cars as a hobby and have been wondering this 🫡
ОтветитьGreat vid!!
Ответитьnice =)
ОтветитьSuch a great video! Thank you for making it super easy to understand!
Ответитьbruh i thought litres referred to the amount of oil🤦🏽. this helped a lot, i wanna get into cars and actually knowing basic terms helps
ОтветитьI watch your videos and they are super helpful. Thank you. Idk if you will respond because I know you get alot of comments but I was wondering if you could give me advice. I'm replacing a cam on my 5.7 hemi due to the notorious lifter tick and was wondering is it okay to keep the old timing chain on it or replace it? The chain has 135000 miles one. Thank you.
ОтветитьBro I just wanted to know what is the liter thing mean 😂 im no mechanic nor gonna be One
ОтветитьVery informative, did not know that
ОтветитьGreat video and great explanation!!
ОтветитьJust found your site. I just purchased a used grand Cherokee 92 with the 5.7. No start and no run situation. I was inspecting the spark plugs and found 2 of them smashed on the driver side. 2 on passenger side with oil. Is this engine salvageable?
ОтветитьI would really like to know how smaller engines make more power than big ones
ОтветитьIs this the dude from the Green Mile?
ОтветитьHey I have a question..maybe you can help me....I have a 2016 Chrysler 5.7 hemi...I have been having problems with the vehicle not going into reverse unless I switched it to reverse immediately after starting, also I have to time the RPM while driving to get it from 3rd gear to 4th gear. Do you think it's the transmission or the TCM? thank you.
ОтветитьStroker build!
