I'm consistently impressed by Ian's ability to describe metal parts of guns, instead of "this pointy bit with a hole in it" or "the surrounding thing with a hole in it".
ОтветитьSeems to me that just handing out a few rifles here and there was a most useless way of distributing these rifles. The French should have equipped entire divisions with them to maximize their effectiveness.
ОтветитьThat's a shockingly beefy bolt.
ОтветитьWhaaat!? Great video.
ОтветитьFallout 4 combat rifle
ОтветитьIan seemed hungover
Ответить“Something they are gonna be selling in an upcoming auction” so in other words a rifle Ian is going too buy at auction
ОтветитьКакой противный язык !! Слушать не аозможно!!
ОтветитьОчень сложное технологически затратное оружие .которое просто для убийства Вирусом убивать проще и экономически выгодно
ОтветитьUnfortunately in many fields the French did not have the merit of their reputations which are due to them in terms of technology for a small country but with a lot of small working people was a time now all this is over.

ОтветитьPerfeita!
ОтветитьWith all the mass in that rifle,
It must have been easy to drop when running away.
Great weapon, ahead of its time!
Ответитьinteresting that it uses a spring in the gas system as a return spring instead of behind the bolt.
ОтветитьHow long is that rifle? Imagine trying to swing that around in a trench.
ОтветитьIt’s too much fun to make of france
ОтветитьIf you look closely at the museum label it says "Dropped once, never fired."
ОтветитьAwesome rifle thanks Ian
ОтветитьBack when the French army wasn't a joke.
ОтветитьI need to watch your videos religiously
Ответить6 years later, Ian has taught us respect for French small arms.
ОтветитьThis gun is a nightmare in Beyond the Wire.
Decided to look for its history.
I prefer the 1917 style of clip
ОтветитьSe parece un poco al mondragon pero con un sistema mas hermetico al lodo
Ответитьfall out style.
Ответитьthis one is obviously a holdover from the musket era, super cool pioneer in semi-auto design
ОтветитьVery strange that CO Commanders would receive a state of the art weapon. Was this doctrine and true, or just a guess? Since WWII, if a CPT is shooting, the mission is probably a disaster.
ОтветитьThis rifle has seen better day.
ОтветитьI hope they have Internet when the apocalypse comes. So if I find a gun idk about. I'll just watch you're videos and be able to disassemble it blindfolded
ОтветитьThat thing rips ass in bf1
ОтветитьI want one of these so bad, they are so interesting and I love them to bits.
ОтветитьThe French decided to dive into small arms research after they had their asses handed to them in the Franco Prussian war.
ОтветитьI actually did realise the French equipped soldiers with this weapon. Cool design and asethetics. Excited to learn about its performance here
Ответитьwho in the world is gonna clip the firing pin on a 100 year old gun
ОтветитьThis rifle has a shockingly smooth sounding action
ОтветитьGod before he said that there was now recoil spring in the rear, I was cringing saying out loud drop the bolt, drop the bolt!
Ответить Cdt.
ОтветитьThis is like a proto M1 garand
ОтветитьBF1 developers: write that down write that down!
ОтветитьThe Garand-daddy
Ответитьit never ceases to amazie me that the US was the only country in WW2 that gave a semi-auto rifle to every soldier, when all the other combatants all had good or decent functioning guns that could have been refined into weapons as good as the Garand is not better in some cases.
Ответить“The French copy nobody, and nobody copies the French”
Well the first half is true—because the French, by themselves, invented half of the modern military. The second half is certifiable nonsense. Every military and their pets are organized on French lines (regiment, division, corps) and use French concepts. Such as semiautomatic rifles.
One of my dream guns
ОтветитьWhy do old rifles have such long barrels?
Ответитьjust got here from a minecraft mod, because the internet
