If I dared to be more selfish I would be thousands of pounds better, not worse off. I would also have got my needs heard and met more than I ever did.

As a Californian, want to believe everything in his lecture but feeling oddly defensive.

We don''t live in a meritocracy Alain. and I don't know anyone who believes that we do. We live in the world of nepotism and lefty Wokes. We live in a world of billionaire psychopaths controlling the main stream media, big Pharma and big tech. We live in a world of fake news where lefties have become even more self righteous, patronising, deluded and intolerant. We live in a world where a big burly bloke in dress who calls himself Mary can with impunity enter little girls toilets and women's prisons and then bleat about what a victim he is. And the wokes will conduct a witch hunt on anyone who dares disagree with burly Mary's so called 'rights'.

He is talking out of his backside, religion has not gone into decline, what has happened is more religions have sprung up. Woke'ism is the new main religion, but the strongest one of all is scientism. People use science as their bearer of all truth and these science devotees refuse to see that their slavish worship of science is a religion too. Belief in science is FAITH BASED. But people can't see it. De Botton himself is full of religious zeal but because he considers himself secular, he can't see his rampant faith to the new world religions.

Is this person really human? How on earth is he thinking of such mind-blowing thoughts, put them in such fine sentences and then speak those sentences without pause or Fillers....ALL AT THE SAME TIME? 😵‍💫🤯

Yes Alain, it's Kate, the one you have rigged up. Studying me, experimenting on me and worse Alain. This is a bad as the Nazi days Mr. de Botton. 4 years of telling on you and you not being caught. What have you got going on de Botton? Stalking me for years on computer every night (early your time) whenever a character was to say something de Botton wanted to get across he would press a key and a red line would appear. He did this everynight where I was living for many years. After that for 4 years now I have had this man 's mind linked up to mine. I'm on antipsychotic and the whole thing because of this asparagus prick. It doesn't work against this kind of technology de Botton has got his hands on. He also watched me put the Book of Revelation to 40 Rock Songs. This has gotta be 12 or so years now de Botton has been doing these kinds of things. So as far as emotional eduction Alain, you have none. I had a very good life house cleaning, making music and reading and studying the Bible before you came about. Now what you gonna do? Off me? Got enough information Alain? Who else do you have rigged up I wonder?
