After going thru trustpilot, as I always do, I learnt that Contabo have extremely low customer service, so low that it is almost non-existent and also has no refunds. I don't know who paid you to advertise their service but I assume you know nothing about the 'inside' of their company.

Contabo charge an additional £129/month to manage the server, so if you need that, it's not such a bargain.

There's no comparision here, you need to rent these VPS and actually test them. While Contabo is incredible value, they do heavily overprovision by about 80%, meaning you will almost always be fighting for resources. Not dissing them, but this isn't a good comparison.

I am afraid it’s not that easy. You are just using those information from their websites and that’s not the best comparison. Contabo f.g. charges a setup fee, while some of the others don’t. Also Contabo doesn’t guarantee the amount of RAM. They just guarantee access. So a plan with 16GB RAM doesn’t guarantee the full 16 GB all the time. It just guarantees access to 16GB which is - of course - shared with others.

BTW, Hetzner owns 4 data centers, one of them in the USA.

Forgot some important things to mention. Nearly all of them have strong issues on ddos security and nulling ips on regular base. Furthermore accounts have been suspended without proper warning. I personally wouldn’t use any of them for mission critical applications.

On paper, Contabo wins.
I have tested OVH, Contabo and Hetzner. For me, Hetzner was the best choice.

Contabo has network issues and is slow. Yes, they offer more SSD space but slower than Hetzner.
Hetzner fell behind on multi-core performance but beat even VultrHF in single-core performance. OVH sits between.

At the movement, Hezner has US datacenters.
