Good God I just got two of them now i have regrets 😒😒
ОтветитьOnly thing I don’t like about cast iron is that it doesn’t heat evenly, like at all. Induction cooker is good for these for that reason.
ОтветитьJust cook with lots of butter and non processed oil…. It’s good for you!
No extra seasoning needed once you’ve built up a seasoning
Well done for the video last comment was hilarious
Ответитьwhats the point of oiling the handle?
ОтветитьSo the answer is « tons of grease »
ОтветитьThis pan is for nerds, better get a stainless steel pan
ОтветитьUse good ol bacon grease to season your pans👍
ОтветитьI ve figured out the washing part on my own, cool
ОтветитьBottom line: if you want to work for your skillet instead of the skillet working for you, buy a cast iron one. As a bonus, they heat unevenly, they respond to changes in heat 5min later, they never have a lid, and you always must use a towel to hold the handle. One day you'll forget it and burn your hand. Yay!!!!
ОтветитьI've had nothing but trouble with my cast iron frying pan.
Season at three times and it's still sticks
I love using cast-iron to cook with. I just wish I could keep my wife from putting it in the dishwasher.
ОтветитьNew or old your trying to reseason/resurrect. One pound of bacon. Done.
Ответить3 life times. Im using my grandma's now, that my dad gave to me 😂
ОтветитьDid you try ghee for the seasoning?
ОтветитьCast iron is a hassle.
ОтветитьBlack seed or canola oils... 😑
ОтветитьThank you! Very informative and funny comment at the end of video lol but true true😝😂
Ответитьpractical tip: just wipe it out with a paper towel after you use it. No washing, leave the crusty bits if any, and just give it a good wipe when it's about 50% cooled off, and then it's ready to use again later. If it seems a little dry, just put a few drops of oil in with the paper towel when you wipe it down. 🤷♀
ОтветитьI’ve been curious about cast iron for years and this video confirmed one thing for me: it’s exponentially more trouble than it’s worth. BUT thank you for the very informative video and for saving me the frustration of buying one without understanding it!
ОтветитьDaug riebalų reikia. Bet užtat amžinas virtuvės prietaisas ;)
ОтветитьThank u as ive just bought a cast iron big frying pans and a cooking pot 👍🤗🙏💖🇬🇧
ОтветитьStep one: steel wool.
Step two: NON abrasive pad...... (?)
Do people even think before blurting out stuff?
Cast iron is the only pan you need. It will last you your entire life. One pan for every meal.
ОтветитьI'm sorry but I won't coat the handles
ОтветитьIs there a reason you're burning everything?
ОтветитьThis was on my Christmas wishlist (or, I wrote all other types than nonstick) but I wasn’t prepared for seasons my pan, I thought we seasoned the food
ОтветитьI normally just cook bacon in it. Seems to work.
Ответитьi once read a story where someone's roommate "surprised" them by cleaning all the dishes and it was cool until they found their beautiful cast iron stripped off seasoning and sitting in the dishwasher 💀
ОтветитьThe voice break when she speaks at the tail end of sentences is utterly annoying. Work on it.
ОтветитьThanks for the tip, I guess I need to give more !!
ОтветитьPlease remember not to pour leftover oil or grease through the drain. It will clog the pipes. It is better to dry it off with paper towels that you then throw in your compost.
ОтветитьGod that’s a lot of work
ОтветитьMy dyslexia read this as "how to cook a cast iron."
ОтветитьI loved this, thank you and thank you for the laugh at the end!
ОтветитьShe said its easy...seems pretty exhausting to me
ОтветитьCooking in cast iron makes me feel manlier in the kitchen 😂
ОтветитьSeasoning your cast iron in the house is not a good idea. You'll set off the fire alarm and smoke up the house. Season it on the BBQ.
ОтветитьAnd they're definitely better than a good woman!
ОтветитьI only cook with cast iron , the great for pineapple upside down cakes in the oven Dynamite.
ОтветитьBizimkiler niye boyle vidyolar cekmiyo. Hamur makinasi karsilastiemasinda da birsuru unlu mutfakcilari izledim en iyi karsilastirma gene yabanci bir vidyoda buldum. Ne dedigini anlamasam da izleyerek karar vermistim ve dogruymus.
Ответить"UnDeR mArItImE lAw..." got me so good. Hahaha.
ОтветитьThis is my first clear explanation of proper use and maintenance of cast iron. Much appreciated 👌
ОтветитьThank you, I am about to use them, and hope they last for ever.... however I am a little afraid lol
ОтветитьThis video made me realize I should not buy a cast iron
ОтветитьWrong, the more you give a women the more she thinks you are a simp and will eventually look down upon you
ОтветитьWow! It ist worst than having a Tamagotchi
