Looks good. I’ve heard on people putting pieces of 4x4 in with them as chew blocks to defer them from chewing on the cage.

Awesome build. I have the wire cages and have been thinking about changing them out (for various reasons). I learned a couple of tricks from your build out that I will definitely use when I change mine out. Great commentary too.

You might not want to put your foot or hand near where you are nailing with a nailgun. Speaking from experience, if the nail hits a knot, even one that you can't see, you could get a nail in your foot or hand.

You know what frustrates me? The price of the poop collecting trays! 😳 I purchased a couple of 4ft x 4ft cages without a base, so I'm creating a wire bottom base to keep my 2 rabbits feet healthy and dry. Each rabbit has their own cage. So I've been searching for either 4ft x 4ft or 4ft x 2ft trays for this purpose, and the prices are outrageous! Only horticulture (plant) trays seem to come in these dimensions, and they want over $100 for just one 2ft x 4ft tray! I mean, come on now! It's only molded plastic from China, not gold! 🙄 If anyone knows where to get these cheaper please comment. I'm new to your channel and I'm loving your content so blessings to you and yours! PS: Still waiting to see some nakidness..lol! 😜

Cut a soup can open at both ends and stuff it with Hay . Keeps all the Hay together until they Munch it up . Let it hang out both sides. Keeps it from falling through the cage floor .

Hi,while feeding hay its highly advised you tie up and hang the hay.reason being, you prevent diseases due to rabbits urinating or excreting on the and also helps in avoiding wastage..Good work though cheers

I was just going to ask about how the slant of the roof makes rain water drip toward your metal building and the back of the rabbit cage. I would put a gutter that would feed a 5 gallon bucket attached to water feeder inline pipe.
I forgot which channel I saw that. I just remember the guy was (looked like) an ex-navy, big dude.
My husband wants to grow rabbits too and I'm usually 'butting in' with building the house - like we did with chickens: his idea, I built. Thank you for sharing your plan and mistakes so we can avoid them.

For the chewing problem you can apply Tabasco diluted in a little water rub it on. It will stop the chewing for a little while
