I Ramble About The Negative Traits In Project Zomboid For 20 Minutes

Hard of hearing isn’t too bad honestly, like you mentioned if you’re paying attention. It’s usually a good trait to get those extra 4 points. And the paying attention part is crucial, I usually kill 1-2,000 boid’s before I end up getting caught off guard finally💔

I just wanted to say the skill hard of hearing is bassicly free points because if you take it just go in the audio settings and raise the volume

I really enjoyed deaf as a new player it doesn't seem much more difficult because I don't know how to look for the zombies anyway but the immersion from not being able to hear and not seeing behind myself was really cool

I'm playing PZ with an friend on steam trough Remote Play Together. I made 'Mitsuru Kirijo' (yes the character from Persona 3) as an charcater in game.

Job: Veteran
Negative: Smoking, Deaf (I picked deaf because we are in MULTIPLAYER, as long as my friend is near, I still ehar anything.)
Positive: (The basic immunity to panick from Veteran job), Thick skin (I once got DEMOLISHED by zombies, I got attacked an bitten like 8 times... and with that bonus... NONE OF THEM WERE REAL BITES OR INFECTED. Thick skin is op for real...

Not being able to take athletic while overweight is some wild shit, even in my adult years i know a LOT of football players that are built like refrigerators but have way better cardio than me

I often end up playing with no sound because my sound card hates this game and cuts the sound off randomly. Playing deaf is actually not hard at all if you're just careful and observant

Slow reader is BS, fast forward is NOT a solution, you still waste an entire day of looting no matter if it's "fast" or you have to wait the whole process, saying "you can fast forward" is the most stupid thing you could ever say about this trait, sorry bro, you are not worth watching, you don't know sht about this game

My last character has hematophobic and smoker, I really can't say if it is anxious because you haven't smoked or because it is very dirty/bloody. It is slightly desperate when he smokes and get clean, but he remains the same xD. 100% recommended.

weak stomach is a no brainer, just make sure you don't eat burnt or rotten or stale food and your good. cook everything you can and your good to go, easy 3 points to use.

I don’t drive that much if at all which I why I pick up Sunday driver.

Oddly enough, I always pick the Deaf trait because I usually play Zomboid while listening to something else. While it does make the rear vulnerability more dangerous, I find the game gives certain visual indicators to threats... like being able to see a window break despite not being able to see the zombie tumble in.

i always pick the deaf trait when i play MP with my friends..... they always seem to forget about that when i tell them, "Don't worry, y'all can goto sleep, I'll keep watch" :]

I always run very underweight in B41 because a few stricks of butter and two weeks in and youre already fine. Paired with fit its not so bad.

I only ever play deaf runs. I'm getting those real life XP gains though a podcast.

the trait changes nerfs in b42 sure are.. something, wonder if they'll really stay that way (but then, traits stayed the way they did for years leading up to b41..)

The only time slow learner is useful is in roleplay servers because there are epilogues before the apocalypse starts so you can have free time to just practice skills xD
