The Future of Work With AI - Microsoft March 2023 Event

Im Big fan of this KI. I hope it has more autonomies for Systems of computers and it can help to improve the local experience with systems of coputers. The nice thing about Windows 11 is that I enter a command in the search bar and the system looks for what I want, which makes using the computers a lot easier, but: But an option where Copilot is integrated into the search bar, which not only searches but also directly executes the command in the search bar, would be very helpful. I think this is a huge step!

Who gets paid for this work? Who owns it? How do we gauge skill levels when everyone is using AI to work? Who does the work? What happens to displaced workers? Who earned the wealth generated by AI, will it be consolidated at the top (as it is today) growing the wealth gap even more?
What happens with nefarious actors? How do we identify them? Regulate them? Prosecute them?
How do we maintain our OWN choice without AI borrowing from it or stealing it? What if AI steals our ideas and shares them? Who gets prosecuted for that?

I'm impressed to see how amazingly technology improved, and also, how confidently these presenters speak.

Why did I have the constant feeling as if the presenters were robots, and I was waiting for them to reveal at the end that they were also created by AI? It was so impersonal, artificial, and overly polished for the most of them, except for a couple of ladies.

Lot of complexity. This is going to create more work at speeds humans cannot manage or keep up with... now we need to organize all output and do work behind the scenes with real people and real world problems.

I am not sold. I would never write my child’s graduation speech with copilots. Neither would I do the same for anyone I care about. A model produces a generic and average sounding word stream for any situation. You want it to come from your experiences and your style.

AI aiding you to harness the 90% functionality of MS applications that you don't know of? That is truly going to be a game changer!

AIs can generate source codes.
Those facts solve “much” problem on MFC library that claiming ownerships of all source codes in VisualC/C++ environments from 1990s.
Those can realize the production reliability responses as old manufactures for example P&G at least, not further as B.A. Tobacco😂😂😂

AI is a technological leap the likes of which we've never seen in human history aside from maybe the creation of electricity.

I'm convinced GPT 4 created this whole presentation and the people are fake... Scratch that... GPT 2 created this presentation. The presenters were WAY too robotic to have been generated by GPT 4. The tech is really impressive though. I think I'll be unemployed in a few years if this kind of AI advancement keeps up... And I suspect most other people too... Yes, I'm also talking about you who is just reading this.

Finally I can get an ai system that will help me create regex. Copilot is amazing.

True AI could do the hard tasks but then people get paid for doing those tasks.

After watching lots of videos about A.i. Now I realized I'm not gonna survive in future with a job. Thank you microsoft😢

Ça promet, même pas capable de faire des logiciels qui fonctionne , windows 10 , je veux installer une app, smartscreen bloquée disant que c inaccessible alors que je l'ai désactivé, Cortana pompe de la mémoire pour rien, des années et jamais utilisé , comme le lancement rapide office, impossible a désactiver et jamais utilise et plein d'autres comme ça , résultat je n'utilise presque plus les ordi et internet. Edge pareil, une interface a chier, afficher rien que la liste des fichiers téléchargés prend 10 secondes, les mises a jour ne servent qu'à ennuyer les utilisateurs a désactiver des fonctionnalites, un sitemap avec qq milliers de ligne au bout de 1mn toujours pas affiché alors que c du texte simple et je pourrais en rajouter comme ça plein, c tellement a chier les navigateurs maintenant que je vais presque plus sur internet, seule les pages du HTML très simple du début d'internet se chargent sans problème

Moving from autopilot to co-pilot. Then to just pilot.

Had to ask Bing Chat why I can't find Copilot anywhere, even though this video makes it sound like it was available since weeks ago. Turns out it's not yet available. Guess they had Copilot make the video for them... without fact checking and correcting its mistakes by hand... 🤷‍♂ We're in for some exciting and confusing times...

Also, is it just me, or does it sound like they're kind of saying (without saying it) that when you, Mona, Lydia and the rest of your colleagues are using Copilot in Outlook, you'll basically have AI's talking to each other. Person A uses Copilot to write a well formulated email, Person B doesn't have time to read all the nonsense so they ask Copilot to summarize it and create a well formulated response, etc. Not that I mind, most corporate communication seems to be 90% filler anyway.

“The soul of work”? Will I reach some sort of blissed-out nirvana if Copilot drafts a Teams response for me? Scale back your hype, Microsoft people. It might be more credible. Or at least listenable.
