I always get annoyed when horror movies like this give credence to people like psychics, and demonologists, and ghost hunters, especially when it’s just to use them as exposition dumps. I feel like it would have made the movie creepier if no one had a clue what was going on.

While watching the first PA flick, I kinda found it as a metaphor for the rise of the tea party/far right gop. Micah has a total disdain for Katie's opinion (misogyny) and that of the expert (anti-intellectualism)she calls . Yet, after doing his "own research" he comes to the same conclusions that the expert told him. And that theme just repeats over and over through out this film. The whole flick Micah is just this asshole who doesn't heed the warning of all those around him which ultimately leads to his demise.

I hope this makes sense as I am very drunk rn. Great fucking vid, fucking love your work. As soon as I get money, I am subscribing to that patreon. Let's all feed thems kids!!
