My family and I were at family gathering when Steve died. A friend called on my cell phone to tell me, because she knew what fans we were. Soon, the whole gathering was in shock. Steve was amazing, and how sad to be taken from his family in such an unusual way, so suddenly.

I grew up on him, probably the reason I love animals and my sons do too. It’s episodes like this where you have to say “a sting ray, really” this man was 10ft away from a 100 Nile crocodiles. Absolutely crazy.
