I think it was pretty clear Stone Cold was gonna sign with RAW here. If you look at the rosters at the start of the brand extension, SmackDown had a lot of the big stars. The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, even Triple H was part of SmackDown after losing the Undisputed title. The only big star RAW really had was Undertaker. So Stone Cold kind of had to sign with RAW here.
