As GM, I always put down this "player oppositional defiance" thing that happens so much. Love the story, but every time they get questioned or are talking to a new person its insanely paranoid levels of "speak but say nothing". Their characters wouldn't behave this way universally. It's player stuff that gets in the way of the story.

Laudna's demonic whispers are by far my favorite thing this campaign.

Matt’s willingness to embrace the “rule of cool” still remains one of my favorite aspects of his DMing.

Out of curiosity what are the components when rolling for initiative? I was curious through most of campaign 2 and thought I had it figured out but it appears I am wrong with what I thought. I have never played D&D and I want to but am still trying to understand things. Also what does DC stand for in combat, is it difficulty?

Somebody tell the druid that she can turn into an insect, so long as it doesn't have swimming or flying speeds. Ants, non-giant spiders, wood lice... They might suck in combat, movement, or even vision range, but they're great choices for getting under a door unnoticed.

I genuinely love the creepy whisper thing that happens when Laudna communicates psychically. I hope that continues for the whole campaign!

Thank you for the fun it's gem. Love letters my fav the player is fenomenal. Also sometimes I shout rules jump in as the massive damage DC which left out. Not a biggie and no idea what ruleset. It's just for HC play optional as google info says we used it all the time.

I love crit roll and I'm really enjoying the campaign so far but I'm a huge asshole who's super fun at parties and is a stickler for word usage so a few things:
- Alight does not mean "light up" or "turn on". "To alight" means "to land/descend onto a platform".
- Brackish does not mean "cloudy/murky/hazy". It means "slightly salty".
- "from whence" is redundant. It's just "whence"; as in, "return whence you came".

Matt is the best. Been watching all the campaigns in order for years now. I’m always on the catch up crew, but I always feel the need to express my love for the cast. Matt has got to be my favorite, the amount of work and dedication he puts into all of this is insane. He should be very proud
