ОтветитьI'm a 22 year old female. I started going to the gym and doing strength training in June (it's now October) looking to lose the last bit of excess fat and tone up. What I found was that I lost minimal fat (just 2-3 inches off my waist) but my shoulders, which were already pretty wide due to my bone structure (I'm 5'9) got even wider and I actually gained 2 inches on them. I seem to have a body that gains fat and muscle quite easily. I've now stopped going to the gym to focus on fat loss first before I start working on growing some muscle, as I don't want to get any bigger - I want to get smaller overall! I now do HIIT 3x a week incorporating the 5kg dumbells I have.
I also did a lot of glute focused training in the gym but found that my unfortunately flat butt got no rounder.
Any tips, anyone?
Can I take fullbody workout at 6 day in a week (same exercise daily)?

Ответитьgenerally speaking on body recomp u should be slowly losing weight because ur body can burn fat much quicker then build muscle tissue.. also losing size.. but yeah mirror is probably best bet along with other measures.. u need to understand the concept and judge accordingly over all combined
ОтветитьI got an body fat scale from Amazon for about £25 which was definitely worth it, it shows weight, body fat % and muscle mass which gives you a lot more a wholistic view than just weight

ОтветитьSo during the noob muscle gain phase, will you gain more muscle if you do a calorie surplus/intake than if you do a deficit? Or doesn’t that matter too much? Cause I do want to gain muscle and lose fat but I prioritise gaining muscle (cause I’m skinny fat)

If you work out too much your body won't repair! Your body needs more rest in order to grow muscle. More muscle, more fat burning!
18-20 sets per muscle group per weak? Good luck keeping those session times manageable while keeping those sets all heavy.
