Thank you for putting the work in for this Abbie, much appreciated. As long as you are hiking please keep vlogging - you have a natural talent and everything comes from your heart.

I love you Abbie. To see you battle through your mental health issues and come through the other side stronger but still display vulnerability is awesome. I struggle majorly with my mental health and have done for many years, to see someone strong enough to achieve is wonderful. I envy the places you have walked and long to one day be able to do some of these things as well however for now i know and realise that i have limitations and no support network to enable me [an excuse i know but without support i know it just won't work for me]. Please continue what you do and delivering the inspiration and belief that aspire others to move forward.

I've just found your page as we're planning a trip to Scotland. My husband is a keen walker but I had a spinal cord injury in 2018 and further damage on 2020 like yourself I've been left with crippling pain and struggle to put socks on some days. Have you got any tips to get my back walking, any short less challenging routes for me (most I've managed is 5 mile round trip and did Steal Falls last year) just any tips I'd be so greatful. I'm loving working my way through your videos ❤

Did you ever work out what made you ill?

I’ve just watched your journey of the WHW from start to finish. I’m either going to do it this year or next. I would like to wild camp which I’ve never done before. Slightly daunting, Do you ever feel unsafe? I loved watching this, such great detail and documentation. You have certainly inspired me to this more so now. The outdoors the smile on your face, I’m the same it just brings me pure joy. Hiking is my happy place for sure. Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Love your videos by the way and congratulations for finding a secure relationship I have a mental illness myself and it's taken me till I was 49years old to meet my girlfriend were engaged now and have been together 6 years. I'd love to join as a patron but I've had my benefits cut yet again but I'll try to save and join because I love you quality videos and hiking keeps me as well as I can possibly be. Let's have a few short day walks please

If you're suffering from injury why not film more day walks rather than long distance walks. I really enjoyed the two walks you did in my native peak District and I'm sure no one would think any less of you especially your patrons

Loving your videos as looking to do this walk for charity. Here's a question. I know you have to 'poop' out in the wild sometimes, being mindful of the rules of wild camping and leaving no trace. But along Rannoch Moor with its vast openess. Where do you find the privacy to 'poop'? I'm finding this one of my hold backs. I'm a bloke, so going for a widdle is quick and private. Can anyone help with an explanation on doing this ?

Abbie , I have just arrived home after completing the WHW. In 6 days, my previous WHW had been over 20 years prior , and I can say after watching this video I was inspired to attempt it once again. Now in my 60’s, my family thought I was mad to ,without much planning,go ahead with this. The old gear was retrieved from the shed (cobwebs brushed away] and I was off. The difference this time , I had my heavy bag transferred ahead to my camping spot by a fantastic company AMS.On my journey, I met so many wonderful people from all over the world. Thank you for your amazing films, the inspiration I took from them so helped me along this truly incredible landscape.

Abbie, im heading off to the WHW on Saturday morning and the only wild camping spot im nervous about is the spot you camped just past Kinlochleven just past the old ruined house. Its very much middle of nowhere isnt it? Was there anybody else around there? Was you nervous at all? Was it a good spot? If you could reply before Saturday i would be very grateful... another great video by the way... keep them coming

When on The Way, how often do people go over Ben Lomond, instead of following the Loch?

This brought back so many memories! We walked the Way in 2017 and I am still trying to get the mud out of my boot treads. The weather you had was almost identical to what we had, and the barman at Kingshouse told us we had had "the full Scottish experience". I became convinced at one point that none of the mountains in Scotland actually had summits, because we never saw any. In spite of all the rain and mud, we still loved every minute. In fact, in 3 days we'll be back in the Highlands to begin the Speyside Way :)

Wow. Just wow. Everything about this was beautifully shot and poetic. My dog and I set off soon to do the WHW and this film/video has made me realise its going to give me everything that I need and reaffirmed my reasons for doing it. I shed tears throughout this and really felt like I was on the journey with you. Thank you so much for sharing this in the beautiful way that you do. Happy hiking!

Thank you making these videos.
I am sorry to see that you got sick, but to me, it didn’t seem like food poisoning. It seemed like dehydration. We drink for the future, so the effects might have been delayed. Anyway, that’s my thought on it. Stay safe, stay well, and stay well-hydrated.

Abbie, what a beautiful video! My husband and I hiked the WHW in May 2022, and when I feel overwhelmed in life I like to watch hiking videos of the WHW to transport me back there. I'm so glad to have stumbled upon your video, and even cried with you as you searched for and found your coo. I too have a small stuffed coo that is very important to me. Thank you for sharing your incredible physical and emotional journey on the trail - you seem to have a calm and kind soul that brings us viewers peace and tranquility. I look forward to coming back to this video time and time again.
