This seems to be an advanced tutorial. My problem is that last December I saved my W7 Pro computer to an external HDD using Windows Easy Transfer, Only after building a new W10 PC did I find that W10 cannot open WET files. I downloaded VMware yesterday and installed it (easy) then installed W7 Pro onto it (also easy) but when I view the contents on VMware it is just empty folders and I want to know what I am doing wrong.

I installed VMware in my computer which that does not have an ethernet port and in order to make communication with PLC i installed a USB to ethernet adapter and it is working fine with the host but i couldn't establish a communication between VMware and PLC .
kindly how can i solve this problem ? .
