Top 10 Best Games of 2020 | alecandstuff

While i myself tend to play a lot of older games than recent ones, i did have some games this year i found pretty good to have. PuyoPuyo tetris 2 was a fun sequel to one of my favorite puzzle games, P5R is a great upgrade to an already amazing game, animal crossing new horizons was just the greatest joy to help bring people together, dreams was a pretty much revolutionary piece of software, and honestly that's all i can really think of for games released this year. Although personally, out of all the games i PLAYED this year and not just the ones to release this year, Danganronpa V3 was probably my favorite. The experiences i had with Danganronpa V3 were so good and it's my favorite game i played this year.

I'm not even sure I played 10 games that came out in 2020 so if I had to make my top 10 games I've played (for the first time) in 2020 it'd be:
1. Portal 2
2. Celeste
3. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
4. Hollow Knight
5. Super Mario Odyssey
6. Portal
7. Team Fortress 2
8. Pikmin 3 Deluxe
9. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
10. Hyper Light Drifter - Special Edition
Honorable mentions: Half-Life, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, Untitled Goose Game, Rhythm Heaven (DS) and Among Us.
I'm also not counting Super Mario 3D All-Stars as one game but as 3 games and the only one I didn't play was Super Mario Sunshine which didn't make the cut.
