Virtual Reality Centre

The Virtual Reality Centre (VRC) aims to support teaching, learning, research and community services through virtual reality and related technologies for the university, industry and the society. The Centre is equipped with interactive and immersive Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (CAVE)-based virtual reality system, Head-Mounted Devices (HMD) and other related equipment in its Virtual Reality and Big Data Analytics Laboratory (VRBD Lab). The Centre applies virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, big data analytics, and data visualisation to various disciplines for teaching and learning through the centre systems and simulation tools.

虛擬實境中心旨在透過將虛擬實境及相關技術應用於大學、業界及社會，以支持教學、研究和社會服務。中心的「虛擬實境及大數據分析研究實驗室」所建構的沉浸式虛擬實境模擬系統，可以把虛擬實境、擴增實境和混合實境技術應用到不同領域的教與學項目，同時可進行精密的多維度大數據研究，提供卓越的三維互動學習平台。
