ОтветитьRachel cooks with love and it shows! These are so pretty! 👑
ОтветитьHi Miss Rachel, how long can you hold the dough before frying
ОтветитьYou're cooking and baking are similar to the ones that we use here in New Mexico but we don't use yeast in our soaps we also just use warm water no milk.
ОтветитьYum! Haven't had these in years! Thanks for sharing your recipe!
ОтветитьDo you ever make stuffed sopapillas?
ОтветитьI just love your videos. I love to cook and bake and now I want to fix the things that you have shown on here. Thank you ❤
ОтветитьSopapillas are among the first items I ate at a Mexican restaurant as a teenager that I REALLY wanted to learn to make. Everything was good, but these little pastries were something special. Thank you so very much for showing us all how to make them - all these years later (i'm 67 now!!!) I'm finally going to get to learn!!
ОтветитьI guess I eat mine wrong because I open it and put honey and butter on the inside
ОтветитьI just found your show. Love it

ОтветитьNever had those, but sure wished I had one. I love watching you bake & cook. Thank you for all your wonderful recipes!
ОтветитьAt the beginning of this video , you say that you can fill these with anything sweet or savory. How do you fill them???????
ОтветитьMs. Rachael, your sopapilla recipe looks SO good as does your sopapillas themselves!!! Yummo!!!
ОтветитьWe always tore the corner off one side and put the honey inside the sopapiallas. It wasn't so messy that way.
ОтветитьDo u know how to make biscocios?
Ответитьyour recipe is so different than most. yeast and milk.. they seem to come out similar thought.. I have to try!
ОтветитьDo you store in air tight container?
ОтветитьJust came home from Santa Fe. We had some good sopapillas there but I'll bet these taste better. I'm going to make some soon! Thanks for the video.

ОтветитьWhat a lovely video Rachel. They look delicious 😋
ОтветитьOMG! Ive looked for these since 1975! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I had them in texas. Even in mexican resturants they try to pass off bunuelos as sopapillas. Both are good, but i cant wait to have them again after all this time. I had them with honey and they were divine!
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьCan this be made with a kitchen aid mixer or with a food processor? Reason I ask cause I have hand problems. Thank you
