Hi point is a BBG 😉
ОтветитьThe problem with Hi-Point warranty, is they'll send you another Hi-Point
ОтветитьFifty thousand subscribers. Paul, you have come a long way. Thank you.
ОтветитьThanks for giving that jacket a good home, Paul ❤
ОтветитьGlocks are butt fn ugly. Doesn't stop people from buying or using them en masse. Because they're reliable and decent.
In fact, I'd say some Hi-Points look better than most Glocks. But then, pop culture often displays Glocks and that influences people as well.
I have a hi point 45 I love it when I first bought it it had issues jammed many times so I took it a part to see what was wrong that thing that the bullet rides on going into the chamber had nicks in it so used a tool to polish it and never had a problem I love shooting the hi point its a good gun and yes the trigger is long but take it a part again and cleaned the burs off in side gun the gun works fine now
ОтветитьUpdate on my JCP45 Have had for 4 years now and 0 issues using Ball and Hornady critical defense ammo...It is a crude firearm fun to take to the range...It is a keeper as with my other Higher end guns if i had to grab for self defense i would have no qualms using this to defend myself as a House self defense firearm!!😊❤❤
ОтветитьIs it worth the price? Only if you pay $5.00-$10.00, unless you like expensive paperweights.
Ответить@theduke7539 true but I have one and it isn't accurate at all, and my magazine failed, the spring inside the magazine broke. The only thing I would rely on it for as far as self defense is concerned is to get that one shot off at point blank range and hope that is all I need. They won't cycle rounds without a functioning magazine. I would prefer a reliable .22 with a good sized magazine, it would serve me better in a fight for my life. Think about it 10 ir 12 rounds from a .22 will hurt more than 1-3 misses from a .45 acp. Of course I could be wrong if you count hurting the bad guys ears in that comparison. Just a observation of mine in use. My guess is in a fight 1-3 misses might just make the bad guy mad because they don't like people shooting back..
ОтветитьRuger lcp is 200 and won’t jam
ОтветитьOh yea I got my dads made in America set of carharts he got at his job working in a coal fired power plant in the early 90s. They don’t make em like they use to.
ОтветитьGIT R DONE LOL
ОтветитьI think comparing it to the Colt is fair. It actually makes more sense than the Glock to compare it to.
Ответитьbling, lol
ОтветитьThe funny thing is, if you had shot the HiPoint with the Colt, not only would the HiPoint not have come apart it actually would've still worked afterwards.
It wouldn't even have been mad, just given you a pitiful Eeyore "Thaaaaanks for noticin' me".
Saw a used one at the last gun show for $79 should have bought it.
ОтветитьI bought my JCP .45 as a parts kit for $28 😂. Printed frame, worth it for the price of a family dinner
ОтветитьThe last hipoint 45 pistol i bought was 20 years ago and i paid under $120 for it i dont like hi point pistols but there carbines are the shit i have the 45 carbine and im very pleased with it
ОтветитьI love Hi Points and collect them. Laugh all U want but my home is well protected.
ОтветитьHome defense in 40s&w or 45acp. For conceal carry something smaller makes sense.
I agree with buying a used quality equipment over cheap new equipment. True for everything from lawn mowers to guns
Thank you Paul for the honest comments. I have a number of the Hi Points and shoot them on my property. The 9095 carbine is a lot of fun and seemed easy to tear down and clean. The 45 JCP seems to just shoot every time I pull the trigger it goes bang. Fun gun to shoot. Kinda like a hand cannon. I have a local gun store and have been able to buy used Hi Points for $99. Why not. I have a 1911 as well, certainly its a much finer piece. My father had a Remington Rand 1911 in WW2 and the CBI Theater.
ОтветитьThank you Paul. as always your videos are interesting and informative. With a little bit of humor for good measure.
ОтветитьMyself I have owned three High Point carbine firearms. Every one of them has been a total failure from 9 mm to 45 ACP to 10 mm. Constant problems. Had to replace the springs and the firing pin along with the firing pin and the recoil springs multiple times. You have to pay to send them back for warranty work that gets costly after a period of time when you have to do it multiple times in one year. I got rid of the 9 mm and the 45 ACP and I will be getting rid of the 10 mm once I get it back from the machine shop again. This is a warning if you buy a high point firearm for home protection you're better off buying a Daisy BB gun because at least the Daisy BB gun will shoot every time.
I know buy Henry rifles!!!
Rest In Peace, Paul. Thanks for everything. 🤚
ОтветитьI will miss you Paul ...
ОтветитьGreat video. Objective, impartial, complete, technical and funny. Number one, as always
ОтветитьI would like to point out that as far as reliability goes, it is worth noting that at fifty cents a round, putting four hundred rounds through a Hi-Point would put you at the same cost as a budget 1911 type handgun, such as a Tisas, Rock Island, or a used Argentinian Colt. Note that prices vary depending on ammunition availability, trends, time of year, etc. It is also worth noting that a 1911 will hold its value quite well, has a lot of parts availability and interchangeability, and as mentioned in the video, has a lot of support as far as accessories are concerned.
Ответить❤❤❤ miss you Paul 😥

ОтветитьMy dad bought a High Point 9mm with the compensator on it, and honestly, it was a fine pistol that was accurate enough to shoot decent groups with but my God, it was also the LOUDEST handgun I've ever fired. It would probably rupture your eardrums if you were foolish enough to go without earplugs, but it shot fine with no malfunctions that I recall with cheap ammunition.
ОтветитьWhen you can only afford a hi point you are NOT going to afford 1000 rounds of any center fire cartridge.

ОтветитьThis one has it all: Paul apologizing for gunfire in the background, a thank you for helping fund the show through Patreon, a head to head shooting test, a box full of holsters followed by the most thorough holster demo ever, Paul in two costumes, Paul smiling on camera, cheap soda spraying everywhere, and an honest evaluation of this handgun by an actual expert who I would call a professional. I never got to meet you, Paul, but you did it the best and I’m glad to revisit anytime.
ОтветитьI find my self revisiting Pauls older videos a lot, I guess I'm not the only one.....
ОтветитьWOW, Ugly gun?? What do you consider a PRETTY GUN?? I don't give a crap as long as I hit my mark!!
ОтветитьOh, did you mention the Highpoint is guaranteed for life!!, You only pat shipping.
ОтветитьI'm glad we still get to see Paul on his old vids.
Ответитьso because of the poor sights and poor trigger...it's not the firearms fault that it's worse than the 1911? i think you're fine. the pistol is definitely the problem
ОтветитьThe secret, the High Point is that you buy two guns at a low price is still better than one good gun at a high price😂
ОтветитьPaul would be happy to know, he is still teaching from beyond the grave.
ОтветитьAll american should have 1 hipoint each person.
ОтветитьOwning a Hi-Point should be a very Lo-Point in your life, at Some-Point after there's financially No-Point in keeping it.
ОтветитьOne of the main issues with consistent accuracy with the Hi Point is its operation. It's direct blowback, as opposed to tilting barrel or some form of delayed blowback like every other popular handgun. That means the weight of the slide has to be significantly greater which means the weight of the slide will force the gun forward as it goes into battery
ОтветитьTo be perfectly honest your a jackass, im out of here.
Seen better gun Smith's
I need a jacket like that for range days.
ОтветитьLoved the analogy with the pimp and simp attire😂
