Fried balonga was the best, balonga and mustard is always just enough for me.😕🙂🤓🤠😎😏👍✌️👋👏💪🌾🍀🌿🍃🇺🇸
ОтветитьI just posted this in another Sara video! We didn’t have Bologna in the UK but we had pork luncheon meat, which looked pretty similar.
I was one of eight kids and my dad was dead. So my mum would buy a little tin of pork luncheon meat, slice it really thin and fry it. We called it square bacon!
I’d eat it right now if someone put it in front of me
My mom & grandma would make us fried bologna sandwiches, but they'd put Worcestershire sauce on them. No cheese, no pickle, nothing but bologna fried in butter, on white bread with a couple of dashes of the Lea & Perrins. I believe that's how my great-grandmother from Nova Scotia made them. Very tasty!
ОтветитьWhen I cook I tend to put the food away after I get it in the pan because she’s got baloney out on the counter for many minutes when she should’ve put it in the refrigerator right away to stay cold and fresh.
ОтветитьI used to put an X in the middle of the baloney just like you are doing. A better way is to make cuts on the outer edges of the baloney and when it cooks it lays flatter and… It looks like a flower.
ОтветитьMama Mia! My mouth is watering! What a bang-up job and I will have to try this dish soon, only I will crumble potato chips over the top for a nice CRUNCH.💖💯💥🤗
ОтветитьShe's going to make bologna spaghetti 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
ОтветитьSoothing sounds ❤
ОтветитьI love fried bologna sandwiches 😮
ОтветитьYour food looks nasty 🤮🤮🤮🤮
ОтветитьI love bologna sandwiches!
Ответитьmy dad and i made these 60 years ago happy memories ,thanks sara
ОтветитьI'd love to see your version of a Ruben sandwich, pumpernickel, sourcrout and cornedbeef with onions.
ОтветитьInstead of oil, I have always used butter.
Ответить😂😂Honey trust me that so called German bologna at Walmart ain’t nothing German about that it’s nowhere close to it ,if you ever get to taste our real German bologna you’ll see what I mean ,thankfully we have a Russian store about 40 minutes away from my town in. Missouri I stock up on European lunch meats
—Gelbwurst
—Leberwurst
Jagtwurst
I buy $30—40 dollars worth including European chocolate and freeze some of it it’s pricey but man it’s good 👍🏾
I remember dad fixing fried bologna & fried egg sandwiches 🥪 with melted American cheese Im guessing gave him taste of Home when we still lived in Germany I loved 🥰 it to
ОтветитьWe used to eat it on hot buttered toast
ОтветитьTomato lettuce fried egg. Loaded bologna sandwich
ОтветитьMy mamaw made fried bologna with fried egg and cheese sandwiches for breakfast.
ОтветитьTHAT WAS WAYYY TO MUCH MAYONNAISE!!!! 🤮 🤮 🤮
ОтветитьI go to the deli n get it thick cut like a ham steak some cheap white bread n ketchup. Got my husband on them and once a month we have em for breakfast.
ОтветитьThat's not real bologna!
ОтветитьLove Fried Bologna sandwiches. I add fried eggs, and, cheese.
ОтветитьWas so poor growing up we only got this 3 or 4 times a year
ОтветитьI’m from Michigan and my bologna of choice is Koegels. (It’s a Michigan brand)
My family loves ours fried or just rolled up with cheese.
Thank you Sara ❤️
deeelish. i like mine well done, not black but very caramelized like betty's
ОтветитьBbq sauce , hot sauce , lettuce and onions is what I like.
ОтветитьI love your channel so much. Fried bologna sandwiches are a staple in our house. Good summer food when you dont want to heat up the kitchen.
ОтветитьI am having a bowl of cooked whole grains with white organic beans, roasted vegies and sliced avocado and hummus....
ОтветитьNeed a slice of tomato 🍅
ОтветитьOh Sara get it cut so it can be thick and scald ut real good! And if you only have sliced go 4 to 6 pieces and ketchup!
ОтветитьSo could someone please explain who is Betty ? Is she Jamie’s mum or a friend or relative?
ОтветитьYou tell ‘em Sara it’s your frypan you could blow it up 🎊 and they will still wing , ladies you can do anything you want as well the only people that will consume this recipe is Betty, Jamie and Sara so please stop 🛑 being so rude if you get offended here’s the door and don’t let it hit you on the way out
ОтветитьGDay Sara and hand of our foxy vixen Betty thank you for sharing your beautiful recipe of Betty’s delicious 😋
ОтветитьI make mine the same way, except I fry the onions with it and add a nice, thick slice of tomato instead of the mustard and Mayo. I love fried bologna!
ОтветитьWhy does she have the skin of a 100 year old woman? She can't be that old... people that size never live past 40
ОтветитьI love the garlic bologna when I can find it and I discovered something! Have you ever tried a slice of Avocado on these? Oh it might not be a new thing but to me, it is! I put real Mayo and onion slices, avocado slices idk maybe 3 thin slivers, I use white cheese, sometimes some lettuce but with the Avocado I don’t prefer lettuce. Anyway it’s super good and I also get the thin sliced bologna so I also use 2 slices. Seems to just taste better with 2 thin slices vs one thick slice.
Anyway I’m watching some of your videos today and came across some good ones! My husband and I are going to be making bologna salad spread soon! We don’t have that grinder that you have but we’ll just use our kitchen aid it’s got a grinder on it! Please keep making your awesome videos! I really appreciate them! I wish you could do another q and a that would be cool.
When frying I put a little worchershire in the skillet. Lots of butter.
ОтветитьGirl you better believe I like me some bologna 😂
ОтветитьFried bologna came about when the bologna that was bought fresh in the deli may have lapsed in the fridge past 3 or 4 days but instead of tossing it or giving it to the dog you may as well fry it and cook any sign of expiration out of it and feel more confident eating it, and hey, might as well dress it up with some trinkets and sauces!
ОтветитьFried cheese video please
ОтветитьDelicious
ОтветитьWe eat fried bologna with our eggs and gravy biscuits for breakfast. So good.
ОтветитьThank you Sara, God bless
ОтветитьI like Field Garlic Bologna the best! My Dad was the one who use to make them for us. He us pancakes too , but they weren't as good to me because he made his own syrup out of sugar, water, and vanilla. Then he poured it on our pancakes. Made them too mushy for me! He also made us Shit on a Shingle that he loved. He was in WWll and the Korean War. Said he loved the army's food.
ОтветитьAm I weird for loving the sounds of frying??
ОтветитьI haven't made these since college. Classic broke kid meal. Takes me back. 😏
ОтветитьOmg growing up, we had fried bologna with breakfast! With eggs, toast. Soo good. Been a while.
ОтветитьThank goodness I found this video - I could have never figured out how to fry slices of bologna in a pan by myself. Not to mention taking the slices OUT of the pan and onto slices of bread. How does she do it? This recipe is simply amazing. Never until now have I seen the likes of such a culinary creation.
