That's my EXACT setup. Only difference is I leave the smash ball on.

Tbh whenever I literally go into a squads game carry the entire team and destroy everyone they don't even realise just camp the base and do nothing not even trying to protect the base or the bed and i have to sweat and try hard my soul out to just play squads

Since I haven't played Smash since Melee and only watch competitive games, I legitimately forgot items were in the game.

No Items was law in our household for melee

Scrub can't even play with smash meter on. I don't mind playing a few rounds on stripped-down settings for fun and practice, but casual players have to get over their fear of items and stage gimmicks if they want experience the game properly. Seriously, they didn't even have computer players to fill out the remaining six character slots! smh my head. My heart goes out to the competitive kirby player, who obviously just wanted to enjoy playing Smash with his friend the way Sakurai intended.

Advice for the casual:

Just play Guilty gear.

Ive always associated smash brothers with friends gathering and having casual fun, i know theres hitboxes frame data but since i play mostly off with friends whats the point in getting better and if i do it wont be fun for me nor my friends thats why i like to see "competitive" smash from afar, i like my final smashes items and crazy stages if i wanted to play something competitive id go and play tekken street fighter or dbz
