"YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH SILENCE" That's the whole point of science.
ОтветитьI HATE SUVs - love cornering hard and the visibility I have navigating heavy traffic. I prefer a hard top convertible currently drive a R230 SL. I hate when people assume someone bought a car for their perception - I couldn't care less about what anyone else thinks about what I drive.
ОтветитьThis is why I think you suck: This Video! I hope a bird shits in your mouth. 😛
ОтветитьIf someone wants a convertible, these reasons are nothing to them. They know this and accept this.
ОтветитьHow dare you my 2012 370z vert looks sick. Plus women flock to it. GG
ОтветитьSixth gen Celica convertibles look nicer because a black top reveals the body sculpturing better than a full body. Mine handles like it's made of soaked pine. It sucks around town but the liveliness makes it a blast to drive on winding county roads. I can't seem to grasp how having less to do at the controls would interest someone looking for fun behind the wheel. Safe instability is compelling in my experience.
ОтветитьSo if all Cars featured are owned by Employees who owns the Hard Top Mercedes and the Cobra
ОтветитьI agree with Nolan that the second gen Toyota Solara convertible looks like crap. But I have a first gen Toyota Solara convertible and it is way sleeker and cooler looking in my opinion. Everyone knows when they get a ride from me the top will be down. There is nothing like it! It's the closest thing you can get to a motorcycle on four wheels.
ОтветитьExcept that they don't...
ОтветитьWhatever I love my sc430
ОтветитьI have a 2012 mustang convertible and I love it. I think the pros out weigh the cons
ОтветитьI honestly can't imagine life without a convertible. I currently have a Pontiac G6 convertible which I would have absolutely no problem using as an only car if it weren't a 1 of 2400 GTP spec. I actually enjoy the wind flowing through and all the extra sounds; it's like you're experiencing the places you're driving through without actually stopping and getting out of the car. Is sunburn an issue? It could be but that's why I carry sunblock in the car. Are the leather seats in my car baked to an almost plastic-level stiffness? Well, yes. But to me, all the compromises are well worth those perfect spring and summer days, with the top down on the way to the beach via the back roads. :)
ОтветитьThe Range Rover convertible looks kinda weird but a actually nice tho
ОтветитьNolan, you're super great, but I will never forgive you for disrespecting the Lexus sc430 like that
ОтветитьWhere is the Mercedes’ SL?
ОтветитьI own a Saab 93 2004 convertible. And watched this video because of that. I am so happy they used it as a diagram for this vid!
Ответитьuntil min 4 i thought youre talking about laptops dude
ОтветитьConvertibles are great.
My BMW135 is awesome... I have never found it to be slow or have poor handling... modern engines overcome additional weight... if you are driving a decent car to the point that the chassis flex becomes a problem you are either:
A) A professional racing the Nürburgring
B) Driving some American $hitbox
I saw one last night. A BMW.
Oh, how much I wanted to steal it.
when i hear a mf talking about a miata in a positive way i know he’s spitting bullshit
ОтветитьI really like convertibles bc my grandpa owned alot of ford falcons over the years he sold all but two a red 1965 sprint hardtop and a blue 1964 futura convertible always loved riding in the blue one and i think falcons are the best when it comes to convertible cars
ОтветитьConvertibles are not good for long distance driving, HOWEVER there are exceptions
ОтветитьIm more concerned about being crushed in a rollover
ОтветитьThey convert from a Model T to a crappy version of a coupe.
ОтветитьNolan: “ you can’t argue with science”
Christians: watch me
Nolan with a wig looks like miss piggy from the muppets. I'm diggin it
ОтветитьConvertables are dope! Winter niggts heater on blast canyon run! 💕💕💕
ОтветитьIn terms of looks, I've always preferred the looks of a coupe compared to the cabrio version.
Ответить350z roadsters are just ugly asf.
That car is not meant to be a convertible
Would take a small good handling convertible like an mx5 over a newer numb feeling hothatch etc any day of the week. I drove a lexus LC 500 back to back with an mx5 a few years ago and had MILES more fun in the mx5. Lexus was stunning and mad impressive but like nearly every modern car I've driven in last ten years totally lacking in everything that makes cars fun. To me straight line speed and ridiculous grip aren't fun. Dead steering and zero road feel aren't fun.
The novelty of going fast wears off in a couple days to me, but slotting a fun little car down a b road and extracting everything from it wins hands down.
Plus you can't beat the sun in your face enjoyment. I can be in a traffic jam and still have a smile on my face. I only got my first convertable 5 years ago and have had one on my fleet ever since.
True Story: I rented a targa top C8 Corvette for a few days mostly to drive to a wedding for funzies (no, I'm not a 60 year old). I drove it around for a few days, it was alright, and I decided to take the top down for the first time right before heading to the wedding. So, I feel like I look cool with the top off and in my fresh suit and as I'm pulling out of my neighborhood to join a highway, a bird flies over me and immediately SHITS on my head. Bullseye. At this point there is absolutely nothing left of my ego and I am reminded by Christ himself that I'm not as cool as I pretend to be. So I turned around, ego obliterated, took another shower, and never put the top down again lol. It was only down for maybe 5 minutes the entire weekend I had the car. Mind you, this was a targa top and that was a talented bird.
ОтветитьI daily my Miata NC even during the winter. The most versatile, imformative and fun car ever that you can even take to the track.
ОтветитьMe dailying a convertible foxbody mustang 😂
ОтветитьTbh, I don't like modern convertible cars, but I do love classic convertibles.
ОтветитьIm actually thinking about saving my money and converting my roadster to a hard top, might take some time but imo it’ll be worth it
ОтветитьNyah nyah I can't hear you! No really it's loud in my Miata 😎
ОтветитьI love my e85 Z4 M Roadster! I wouldn't give it up for the world.
ОтветитьI like a large sunroof better.
ОтветитьWhere I live it’s consistently rainy season 75% of the year so everyone is on the same page about convertibles here
ОтветитьI love this channel but this sounded like an audible buzz feed article
ОтветитьI'm a little paranoid. I could never own a convertible. I'd always be worried about leaks.
ОтветитьConvertible is like all downsides of motorcycle riding
ОтветитьWait people really believe that convertibles are superior to hard tops? Weird
ОтветитьThe S2000 and mx5 are the only 2 convertibles i would buy
ОтветитьI love my solora sle it's a fun and amazing car
ОтветитьI've been in a convertible twice in my life. I don't get it. It was simply annoying.
ОтветитьI’m a big fan of sunroof/moonroof combo. Ever since I had one, I really enjoy the view.
ОтветитьNot mentioned is a convertible, top down, as a daily, will age you. Sun exposure, general air pollution and especially the exhaust of other cars while idling at a traffic light, etc. You do that day after day after day...invest in a big dumb floppy hat. You'll be glad you did (I drive a t-top MR2)
ОтветитьT-top supremacy. All the benefits of convertible with almost none of the downsides.
