Ответитьits just Warren oil lol -- you guys are so funny
ОтветитьThat's only 4 companies in a World making oil additives. That's exact synthetic oil as all those brand names . And it cost less then $2 for gallon to make it.And non-synthetic is 97% is the same oil as synthetic with slightly better results for temperature changing.
ОтветитьBest to buy the cheapest oil and change it more frequent
ОтветитьWell, you’re right about one of the names super tech oil is made by mobile one Pennzoil and also Warren oil company. There’s three different ways to figure out which manufacturer made the oil. Do you know what they are?
ОтветитьI used to use Quaker State high mileage oil and both motors i ran the more expensive oil in had oil pump failure so I switched to the O'Reilly's or the Walmart brand super tech as well lol
ОтветитьGreat oil use the same oil
ОтветитьSupertech oil prices have gone up! 😵💫
ОтветитьSuper tech for years never a problem
ОтветитьHow about Super Tech, in Power Steering, for Power Steering Fluid !
ОтветитьI use supertech 5w30 high mileage and change my oil 10,000 no issues
ОтветитьMakes no sense to use it anymore it cost more than name brand oil
ОтветитьNope, its not made in or near Mobil. It Warren oil, which is a very good oil.
ОтветитьI switched to COSTCO oil, it's cheaper and the same thing
ОтветитьSuperTech is very good oil, nothing wrong with it in the least. I just bought 3 cases of their full synthetic 0W-20 for $4.08 a quart vs $7 or so for bulk Mobil1. Also piked up 8 of their oil filters, built here in the USA by Champion, they make quite a few brands, for $5.30 ea. I'm set for the next two years, at roughly $25 an oil change!
ОтветитьBeen using SuperTech many many years - never any problems.
Got 482,000 miles on 1996 Rodeo - 120,000 on 1997 Rodeo.
I don't ever plan to buy any new vehicle - too much electronic junk in them.
Supertech oil is made by Warren Distrobution, same oil as Costco Kirkland, and Amazon Basics Oil, and Meijer Oil, etc. I don't believe they are affiliated in any way with ExxonMobil, but that doesn't matter it is good oil...
ОтветитьSupertech is best oil. Plus great price.
ОтветитьAmazon basics has 0 w40 now for 32.00 bux!
ОтветитьI Use Supertech Also And I've Been A mechanic For 49 Years. No Problems Ever Walmart is Not Going To Put Their Name On Something That's Bad . Save Your Money And Buy Supertech. It's Great 👍
ОтветитьFrom brakes to steering to oil to filters, I only use supertech!!!
ОтветитьI use it too, but, videos like this are nothing but anecdotal. Also Mobil 1 is not the most expensive oil. Royal Purple, Amsoil and many other brands cost more, and many are better.
ОтветитьSupertech oil is actually made by penzoil . It is still a great product but not made in the Mobil facility.
ОтветитьIf your not racing or have a high output engine it don't matter. I've ran it in all my cars
ОтветитьIf you have a Costco close by save even more money and get the Kirkland synthetic which is the same exact oil as super tech and Amazon basics but the cheapest. All from Warren distribution
ОтветитьMobile 1 isn't quality Valvoline & Castrol facts especially for trucks
Ответить0w40!! Most new cars and trucks come with 0w20 in them mostly due to enviormental issues. Your other trucks run on 10w (-20c) so i assume you live in a fairly mild climet, a 40 weight is a pretty heavy oil meant for +40c, that is getting pretty hot. What does it say in the manual? can you use a lighter oil?
ОтветитьGood oil I use it
ОтветитьWhen General Motors gives you a Dexos1 or Dexron license, it means your oil has been thoroughly analyzed, tested, and complies with their high standards. Also, Supertech oils are made in the USA by Warren Oil Co. Inc. Nuff said.
ОтветитьI pay $24.00 bucks for 5 quartz of mobil one synthetic.
ОтветитьSince when is Mobile One the most expensive on the market?
ОтветитьThats weird I was thinking that' to I used to buy a bunch of it year ago and would change my oil aloght cause I just like clean oil in there and man stuff is super cheap I also believe there's is no big huge company oil company that just makes oil for Walmart it comes from the big company's like that place in benicua can we send them product for redline oil Castrol bp
Ответить@themopargarage truck sounds good!… bought ths super tech on a budget (young guy on a tight budget) been hesitant to actually use it cause I’ve only ever used various name brands, but after doing some research I keep hearing that it’s just as good as any of the major brands out there
ОтветитьSupertech is not actually that cheap these days. It's literally more expensive than some brand name oils. So the value isn't so fantastic anymore.
ОтветитьI do the same. never a problem as long as it's synthetic.
Ответитьsuper tech 15w40 diesel, evaporates. I won't use it
ОтветитьI can vouch for this, I switched to supertech a few years back, never looked back
ОтветитьWhy ??? Because you are a cheapo !!!
ОтветитьI used wal-Marts full synthetic in my truck once and it sounded like hell. Switched back to castrol edge asap. Not sure if the heat here in Phoenix was the issue, but my truck only like castrol or valvoline.
ОтветитьSynthetic oil thins out more than conventional oil when it's hot. My 96 Grand Cherokee 5.2L calls for 10w-30. I've been using synthetic. I bought it used and it had zero oil leaks. When I started using synthetic the front and rear main seals began leaking. I ended up replacing them plus oil pan gasket. I replaced the water pump and the timing chain while I had everything apart. After that I continued to use synthetic and the valve covers began leaking. At this point I fixed all the leaks, but I don't care what anyone says about switching from conventional to synthetic. If it does or does not cause oil leaks? I think it is very plausible that it can. My jeep doesn't have that many miles considering how old it is,under 150k on the clock. Before you switch from conventional to synthetic, really think about it. Do you really want to fix an oil leak? Possibly every gasket and seal on the engine?
I think it is possible that I wouldn't have had all the leaks if I would have just stuck with conventional oil or synthetic blend. One of the auto parts store guys told me that if you always use synthetic, keep using it. If you use conventional, don't switch to synthetic if you have 70k + miles on your vehicle. Makes sense to me. LOL
supertech synthetic 5w30/ 5 liters = 5.2 quarts 19.99$ cdn $ so cheaper than in the u.s.a. @ 0.77 u.s. cents for 1 canadian dollar , do the maths. I run my big modded sr20det 60% supertech synthetic 5w30 and 40% castrol mineral 20w50 , i ve even been given new old stock john deere 0w40 synthetic oil that I ran the engine with and something very cool when you get it at discount price is the castrol 5w50 synthetic generator oil. when the supertech synthetic is at discount price I buy their 0w20 too and mix similarly to the 5w30 it so I get something ranging around 8-10-w-35-45 but it is rarely to be seen on the shelves. why pay for such trademarks as royal purple , redline or mobil one ? oil is oil as long as you care for it.
ОтветитьJust want to know did you buy that thing with 0 miles or like a 100 or something? You are supposed to change that oil at like 1 ,500 miles and then go the 5k miles and change it again. Probably didn’t break the rings in right.and not supposed to tow anything with it until the second oil change.
ОтветитьIts not like Walmart manufactures their own oil...LOL.
ОтветитьI would say the oil filter is probably more important than oil brand. Oil brands are all adequate oils. But not all filters are. Especially with synthetic oils lasting 7500-10,000 miles. I use NAPA Gold.
ОтветитьHave used Super Tech Synthetic oil in my cars and trucks for years and years. Also use Super Tech fuel treatment every 10,000 miles. Good stuff.
ОтветитьI use super tech oil and filters got over 300000 thousand on 2 different chevys both I changed oil and filter every 6k miles
ОтветитьIf your trucks gas tanks all are empty at the same time you might have somone taking gas out of them
ОтветитьIn German we only run department store oils in any of our cars because they are made by the same companies making the top brand products...best oil manufacturer from Germany is Pentosin, that company also manufcatures oils for other big brands under licence...
ОтветитьEnjoyed watching! I did a lot of research on motor oil a few years ago and what I came up with is a few things: Consult the owner's manual, if you have an older Engine (Flat Tappets & Pre-Synthetic) stay away from API (American Petroleum Institute Service Rating) (found in the "donut" on the back of the bottle in dual letter format) Motor Oils used to be "reverse compatible" until the API service rating SN, or SN+, those oils will not work in engines with flat tappets, so the newest Gens - SN, SN+ and now SP won't work as their zinc content is too low, for that, you will have to switch to a diesel oil with the recommended viscosity for the old engines, The Mopar LA motors are in most part flat tappets so the new motor oils won't work, but will with the Magnum motors since they are roller cams. Also with Synthetics, older engines with traditional gaskets will leak at the molecules in Synthetic are smaller than traditional oils and you will find a lot of engine oil leaks, Chrysler did not put Synthetic Motor Oils in their engines until the early 2000s, so most Magnums will do better with traditional motor oils! TMI? Love talking oil though! ahaha!
ОтветитьI run supertech in our boat and my drag truck, I had a 73 ford f100 with a 514 stroker pushing 930hp and I always used 10w40 supertech with a ford motorcraft oil filter and had no issues.
