This is kind of like a cyberpunk version of the video game "We Happy Few" mixed with the show "Black Mirror". I like it.

Bruh who the hell doesn't know ravens are scavengers and will eat corpses... Also that statement "birds don't eat cats." Have you ever heard of an eagle? A hawk? A raptor of any kind? They are called birds of prey for a reason. Tech sector people I swear are the dumbest people on the planet.

This is so good. I normally get bored with some narration, but this narrator is top notch, and the story is written so well.

I have no interest in being microchipped, but putting all that tech in a glove or in a head band (if you go with a full non-invasive nero interface) wouldn't be too bad.

Great story, as always. Thank you. I just wish Kurt wasn't Kurt. He is just so narcissistically belligerent, it's hard to listen to him. The tone he takes, calling his mentor a "Stupid old man" in the tone reserved for a lifetime of mistreatment from some tyrant? At the carefully put question, crafted not to offend? Kurt needs to get his act together.
