Love this song
ОтветитьGood indeed
Ответитьreed soliloquizes about the bad habits of andy warhol superstars holly (woodlawn), candy (darling), "little" joe (dallesandro) and the sugar plum fairy (joseph campbell) - and turns it all into an irresistible pop song.
ОтветитьJoan ,un 1 grande...
ОтветитьYeah new friends. I love it its what happens in life with Trans and working girls I really like it
ОтветитьLou wrote this song about the folks he met while hanging out at Andy Warhol's Factory. Lou Reed of The Velvet Underground noted: “I was a product of Andy Warhol’s Factory. All I did was sit there and observe these incredibly talented and creative people who were continually making art, and it was impossible not to be affected by that.” Boy Lou is really missed but so I'm so glad he lives on through his incredible music
ОтветитьAlways doing this… -:)
ОтветитьI remembering hearing this freequently on KRSP rock 103 in slc in the late 70s/early 80s. This song would never be played o. The radio in todays woke political climate.
ОтветитьGreat love to all of them, so strange it could seem; looking to their fingers, their faces, it is only one person-appearantly- but different melodies than the endresult.
Somebody said, you should stay in the middle of an orchestra to hear what's about.
The dirigent was invented cause he was looking for a job...😅
Great love to these musicplayers.

ОтветитьHey Sugar, Take a walk, on the Wild Side
ОтветитьLou Reed has grandfathered into being able to use the word colored. He's dead now. Get a shovel if you want to take issue. Dead peoples rights!❤
ОтветитьMy buddy from H.S. Jim, introduced me to this song and the music of Lou Reed in 1983 or 84 and we say him play at the Agoroa Ballroom in West Hartford CT in 84 I think. This song sounds as awesome today as it did way back then. Timeless.
