One of the things I love about these sessions is how the music is often complex and performed with a large ensemble. Two factors that would benefit from having a large open space where all the musicians can see each other and the conductor. Recording is a series of tiny rooms is perverse in a way that makes me smile every time.... not sure what that says about me, but there you are.
ОтветитьCool :)
ОтветитьAnd the quest to find Adam Neely begins again. It's like a new version of Finding Waldo.
ОтветитьAdam Neely and the Rapman! very nice! :D
ОтветитьDelicious Saturday evening treat. Congrats all. Beautiful piece of work.
ОтветитьDid he just use the word diarrhea in a existential rap accompanied by an ensemble of instruments that includes a vibraphone and a casio rapman? Cuz you know, that's cool
ОтветитьJeez Louise, y'all are so fantastic. Love everything you've been coming out with!!
ОтветитьThis is great. I must admit I didn't expect to see a jawbone :-)
ОтветитьNot a musician, just love music. There's a lot of talent in that little apartment. And what fun it must be to be there.
Look forward to every post.
This is great!
ОтветитьCome for the music, stay for the dance at the end :)
ОтветитьSurprised you got Adam Neely on, he's the only Rapman player in NY and there's huge demand.
ОтветитьAnother great session! It's just a joy to listen to/watch it and ever more so when you notice Adam somewhere in the mix :)

ОтветитьWhat genre does this fit into? I want more but don't know where to look.
ОтветитьNice one.
ОтветитьI wonder what the chart for a Casio Rapman looks like?
ОтветитьWow you guys are mind blowing! Loved it! keep it coming!!
ОтветитьBrilliant, keep listening over and over.
ОтветитьDanae <3
ОтветитьMusic and Lyrics by Drew Krasner
Kraz Section by Luke McGinnis ;) lol
Try getting that ensemble into a jazz club, it's more like a mini orchestra
ОтветитьTHIS. IS. SO. GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьAccording to the credits, Luke was on bass, but I didn't recognize him.
ОтветитьDamn, this was awesome! Sad I didn't find you on spotify
ОтветитьRevisiting this... lovely session..
ОтветитьXD Chris at the end, the typical beatboxer. Can't be in possession of a microphone without making noises for more than 4secs
