good video. recovering spell slots require taking a long rest, for warlocks a short rest is enough. could've included it in the video, because you were already saying the sentence haha.

Hopefully there's a mod that let's you get rid of limited spell uses. I've never been a fan of the spell slots.

So Hail of Thorns includes ability modifiers or just base weapon damage? If it's base weapon damage does that include the extra racial damage from say using the Dwarven Thrower as a dwarf and its bonus 1d8 on large, huge, and gargantuan creatures for 3d8+2 bludgeoning and then +1d10 vs large and bigger. Furthermore does savage attacker let you reroll damage since it is based on weapon damage?

Thanks that helped a lot seeing the spell slot disappear. I was thinking for some reason that you could only have 4 spells so having more than 4 isn't helpful but now I know you can have more you just cant use more than 4 in a row. So instead of stacking a bunch of level 2 spells I should change one out for hex.

Not sure why u dident bother including even just a basic understanding on how resting works becouse that is a huge part of even getting your caster caracters to do anything. Having to rest after almost every single battle just ends up getting annoying. I get that they wanted to stop u from just spamming spells but your still doing it only your pressing a rest button in betwinn.

So if I want to heal frequently in battle I have to full rest frequently?

Good simple explanation. I'm coming from Larian's Divinity Original Sin 1-2 games, and I'm totally confused about the spell slots. This help clear up some things.

I like to RP the idea that cantrips are my "castless" spells where my sorc doesnt need to say anything toncast. And level one are spells i need to utter a word to cast and level 2 where it needs a bit of time to prep and cast. Easy for me to remember and a cool little RP thingy for my own enjoyment

I don't get it? Do we need to long rest after every battle? This system seems kinda bad?

Oh now it makes. I thought a slot was also the "space" where the spell is prepared. The word slot is a bit confusing. Thanks for this.
