I can actually buy a cheaper keyboard with better quality, only 42 dollars and you get a keyboard with software, pre lubed stabs, wireless and wired connection, hotswap, and pretty solid function buttons that is actually easy to remember without looking in the manual

Luckily the second keyboard they made was a k1 pro and they fixed a good chunk of the problems from the first and lowered the price tho 170 but it’s always on sale so I got it for 125

The video has been out for two years and I've had the pewdiepie keyboard for almost the same time now. I'm sure its not the best keyboard I will ever own but its definitely and upgrade from the one I had before. It hasn't suffered any mechanical issues and the light features are pretty nice. My main gripe is that the wasd keys collect gunk because of the grooves but its pretty easy to clean so its not a huge deal. All in all I've gotten my moneys worth for sure and its worked well for 2+ years so far. It was very much a novelty purchase so I'm sure I could have gotten a similar quality keyboard for less but I'm not too torn up about it. I'm sure a keyboard hobbyist would have more issues with it than I do but as long as my keyboard works and is comfortable to use for gaming and schoolwork I'm happy.

No, you don't. Nobody wants tactile switches. You either want a click or you want linears. The only reason why you buy tactile switches is if you want something that feels clicky but is quiet. But cherry MX browns AREN'T quiet and DON'T feel clicky. Some switches that are? Boba U4T. TTC Bluish White. And my personal favorite Durock Silent Shrimp. If you've ever felt any of these key switches you know that cherry mx browns are trash.
