How to fight every class in TF2 as MEDIC and WIN!

yes medic may be the better healer, but let me ask you this. how many times has a dispenser left you for dead when faced with one too many enemies. whens the last time a dispenser pops uber 200 feet away from the fight only to have the uber end before you get there. medics are temporary, dispensers are forever. reject medernity embrace dispensculinity.

The hardest enemy medics for me to hit are the ones that don’t jump. But strafe erratically. Once the med jumps I know exactly where to shoot.

Only ones that can do real damage with it are spies and snipers but with enough self awareness they shouldn't be a problem most of the time

I did want to comment one think you missed in the vs pyro match up. The overdose is a very strong tool in this match up.

It allows you to more easily get out of the flamethrowers range.

Alot of pyros also lack very great reaction time and aiming. Running around them with the bonus speed can quickly confuse them.

I übered a Spaps yesterday who proceeded to get 6 kills on the objective

i as a medic tend to die a little bit more than optimal but im not like 1v1ing a soldier just cuz

as you said with assessing risks i tend to do very risky plays such as when im at a major choke that we most likely wont be able to hold if my team stays then i will fight to the bitter end for that choke. i also play a VERY aggressive medic when i can often times firing crossbows at the enemy while healing.

i think this makes me die a little more but i can asses what works and what doesent and often notice that im not healing enough and tone it down and use quick fix to offset it

with this strategy im able to get loads and loads of healing while also being effective in an average casual push and i love this playstyle (also love 1v1ing hale in vsh for the same reasons)

gotta say i love the inopportune moments when me, a youthful medic with not much experience, fall INTO a battle accidentally, only to pull out my crossbow and kill someone on low health who was not expecting it or retreating around a corner from my team. weirdly this keeps happening to heavies

but what if the heavy decides to just switch off the mini gun like if fat scout or heck just eats a sandwich in your face you don't exactly do enough damage to counter that they could also just melee you

I like snipers, the battles you can have with the crossbow vs snipers are way too fun and the fear he brings to the table (Medic Main) ❤

For anyone who doesn't wanna watch 30 minutes, here's how:
1.) uber a demo, heavy, soldier, or pyro
2.) don't die

Dispensers are better then medics because they can’t refuse to heal you because you don’t have good enough cosmetics.

Here's a good work around, medic is the "healing class", and engineer and heavy can be "healers" with dispensers and lunchbox items respectively.

Also, I am back to rewatch this, it's incredibly polished.

For a Pyro, a det jump will also close the gap.

the only thing sadder than no medic is when you finally queue in a team with medic but he goes to fight players rather than healing

- Get crit on uber-saw.
- Become battle medic.

Syringes are actually hilariously good at destroying engie's buildings due to them slowly traveling in curved trajectory. If the sentry is around the corner, really far away or higher than your position it is fucked (as long as engineer himself isn't there or isn't patient enough).

I play battle medic a lot and the needle gun (or the other primaries) do a lot of damage when the needles connect, usually strafing or shooting people that run straight at you can kill a class effectively, the lowest damage you can do with those is 5, but even then that chip damage adds up well when you hit all 40 shots, up close you can kill a soldier and take more than half the health of a heavy when they all connect, I also use quick fix as well because that quick healing can out damage most sources and be a really good escape tool, unless you get random crit, then you're screwed.

Im seeing that you heart and respond to some comments so i gotta ask how do i politely let down a medic to not uber me? I love playing heavy on attack defend but i only have like 10 hours on the class and im so tired of meds insisting that im the best pick for the post-setup push.
