You have every right to be concerned and scared. I had stage 1a breast cancer and my teeth are garbage and its my teeth that worry me the most. Don't worry about others..we'll get by and figure our teeth issues. You take care of yourself. Sometimes it's hard to talk or eat for awhile after having stuff done but that usually goes away after awhile. Dentists usually don't want to pull teeth when there is nothing wrong with them but maybe they should take all the bottom teeth out, put in 4-5 implants and then put a bridge there that fits over the implants and maybe that would fix the cracked tooth problem? And for pain..Ketorolac is amazing and takes all the pain away from areas with inflammation. And, think about combining western medicine with Chinese medicine to combat some of your issues. You are brave and beautiful and I believe you are going to be doing well soon!! (sorry about the length)
ОтветитьI NEEDED TO SEE AND HEAR YOU. This video was for me , this video is me. I feel like I’m looking at myself. You look like me and share my same story! Oh how I wish I could connect with you. Healing, restoration, and refinement 🙏 you are not alone
I just visited the oral surgeon again today , my teeth have a long story:/
And right now 2 weeks no FRONT tooth . :( I was meant to come across this.
I’m clinging to all my other healthy body parts and blessings

I just came across of this video you posted about month ago and sorry for you troubles and hope that your solution to it are working well. I got the pretty much the same issues with couple of my root canals teeth I have had for decades now. Few decades ago one of them cracked and gave me real trouble, I did not want to get rid of it since again it si one of the front teeth and at that time there was no implants. I should have removed it since it hurt my gum around my next teeth and over all it has been a lot of work to keep things not getting lot worst. So, what worked was sea salt water rinses and few other in take supplements which help with detox from the on going infection. It is very intense sea salt rinse I had to go trough first to stop the infection and now I still have to do it to keep it from getting out of control. The other tooth with root canal got the same problem and so that is pretty much the reason I keep rinsing. Over all it is good to rinse with sea salt water but i have to do it real hard or a lot more. Basically I make about pint of water with 1-2 tsp of sea salt and I rise and rinse a way. From the beginning of the problem I went trough 1-2 glasses a day with one sip rinse for may be 5-10 min to stop inflammation and infection, once that got better I reduced based how it felt. I guess by now you have had your extraction and I hope it all went well and you are doing well.
ОтветитьI am in tears.
I have never watched your videos. It just appeared in my feed. I am having 2 root Canaan done tomorrow which are extremely costly 4K + and I still have to do a lot of more work I can’t afford.
My insurance covers little to nothing!
I have been struggling with my teeth since I am a little girl. I have so many fillings that have destroyed my life and unable to do all the fixing due to lack of resources. I am tired of having to take antibiotics every few months due to an infection. I totally can understand what you are going through.
Praying the good Lord it will work and you will be HEALTHY ❤
I believe you need therapy.
I understand the fear but I see pain inside of you
I feel scared with the root canals I have had. I could have had an implant with my very back molar, but I am hesitant to do this because of issues people have with implants.
Ответитьteeth that get a root canal treatment have not a long life, this is common. They not only have a short life but come also with a lot of chronical pain and repeatable problems. In short, it costs you a lot of money and pain over a course of approx. 6-8 years. This is why I would never recommend a root canal treatment. Even if its means that the tooth or teeth need to be pulled, still cheaper and less pain
ОтветитьAnd it’s okay to be upset and worried and anxious! But to look at the pros of this. You are valid in your feelings, your anxiety, your fears. If you weren’t concerned, that would be pathological.
ОтветитьI would get a second opinion. Have they had this scenario before? Have they seen cases like this before that makes them have these concerns? As a woman who had breast cancer and received a second opinion, I just think it’s important to always get a second opinion.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your story. May God bless you and I pray all goes well with your procedure and recovery
ОтветитьWhew girl. I know exactly how you’re feeling. I have terrible teeth! I had two teeth extracted and haven’t been able to afford to get an implant or bridge for either. I have had more root canals than I can count and I am terrified of the long term effects it’s doing to my body. I have insurance, but it’s a complete joke. It barely covers. I do everything in my power to keep healthy teeth, but sometimes it’s just out of our control. You have every reason to feel upset about this. Teeth are so important. Best of luck!
ОтветитьI have had 3 root canals and 1 implant. The root canal was not done well. It could have just been your tooth. Once the tooth has a crack, the root canal can "fail". I love the implant I have. 9 months goes by like a breeze. Dental work is normal. As long as you have a good dentist, it will be fine.
ОтветитьPraying for your dental journey. I know what you're going through. I too have had issues with my teeth it's such a drag 😢 my root canal still hurts which it shouldn't and to make matters worse the crown fell off. I just don't chew on that side. Bless you.
ОтветитьHi Shea, I hope you are healing well !!!
Ответитьsorry. i hope you are feeling better.
ОтветитьShea, I send you good vibes. I have been thinking of you and your dental procedures, trust me, I do understand the scary feelings. I am looking forward to hear the news and how everything went. I do not understand why they had to get rid of the other 3 front teeth, I missed the explanation maybe. Teeth are very important for health in general, infections in your mouth can bring other complications in your body, so you made a good decision to get problem solved.
ОтветитьShea right now you are emotional you shouldn't make any major decisions right now. don't hang your hat when your hands are tied
Ответитьseriously Shea you need to look into Dental scams. I really believe your dentist pulled a lot of scams on you. just do the research.
Ответитьthank you for talking about this and making us women with dodgy teeth feel less alone. there are so many teeth horror stories, this is the real world. I am a receptionist and I have had to go in sometimes with a tooth missing. It is real life and we need to talk about it
ОтветитьI hope you get well soon
ОтветитьYou got this girl. It’s your health. You are allowed to feel the way you feel. I had terrible jaw issues for over a year. I was the same as far as so grateful it wasn’t more serious. And very lucky compared to others. But as I said it’s not wrong to have your feelings about your health and still be conscious of how lucky you are it’s not worse. I think you get what I’m trying to say. I with you the best and a speedy recovery. It’ll all work out.
ОтветитьSo sorry you are having these issues. I have Trigeminal Neuralgia. I haven't spoken correctly in seven years due to pain. All the nerves in my mouth and face fire off of each other. Be mindful of your emotions. My neurosurgeon said anxiety elevates pain. Pain can make that difficult and it takes deep concentration and control, but if you can do this, you may be able to control some of the pain. Good luck.
Ответитьim so sorry you have to go through this... hope everything goes better than well and you pull through
ОтветитьI have been through a similar thing with one tooth. The glued in piece will work. I’m getting ready to finish my work but it has been expensive and emotionally draining. You are not overly dramatic. This is your teeth. Doesn’t matter that you make a living on film. We will be with you on your journey and a lot of us can benefit from your experience and vice versa. Good luck! Sending prayers love and blessings💗
ОтветитьI had all my teeth removed in one session and went without teeth for 3 months after. I was terrified about being seen, but in person or on camera (was doing tiktok), I let go of it all and enjoyed my life.
ОтветитьPlease take care...in a life time one or two years doesn't really matter..your health matters,so take your time & get it done...& recover...I have crooked teeth & people make fun of me but after seeing how upset you are ,I feel at least my teeth are healthy...so, don't be anxious...concentrate on your pros & take everything one day at a time...lots of love from India
ОтветитьI feel for you darling..I pray all goes well..sending hugs and prayers..it's amazing what they can do these days...I've considered snap on smiles..
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьBless you. You will be just fine. Teeth are very important and the problems they can cause are unbelievable. Im going through something, not as difficult as yours but i feel like its changed me and requires so much attention. Its hard work.
ОтветитьI had problems with root canal on my 4 front lower teeth since I was a in 20’s so I took them off and wear a partial since then. It’s been fine I can eat and chew and live my life. Hope you can find way to make you feel better and live your life.
ОтветитьSo sorry 😢
ОтветитьThank you for sharing. ❤ Your story definitely helps others!! Wishing you a speedy recovery. Your feelings are 100 percent valid.
ОтветитьI’m a retired nurse and your concerns are very valid. Any discomfort in the mouth can be paralyzing, and in some cases, when infection sets in, extremely dangerous. Keep the faith, and follow your doctor’s care. Will be praying for you❤️
ОтветитьHon, you are NOT being over dramatic!! Just a regular toothache can cause so much discomfort. And teeth can affect our heart and so many other parts of our health. You said you've been dealing with oral health issues for over a decade. I pray those issues are coming to an end. Bless your heart for thinking about others in similar situations but can't afford the care they need. May God bless you for being willing to help.
Nope, you are not overreacting. And i too thank god you don't have cancer. However, your condition is still serious.
You and your family are in my prayers. I pray that 2024 gets brighter for you.
Shea I’ve never watched any of your before but while scrolling this video pops up, now I know why. So after I had my youngest son ( which was ten years ago) I have been experiencing the same exact thing as you. The back and forth pain down to having fillings, root canals, cracked tooth on the bottom, etc. I’m so scared and embarrassed I guess that my husband of 20 years still has no idea how severe my bottom teeth are. Hearing your story has made a huge impact on my mental wellbeing through all of this. I have been thinking how selfish iam for being so upset, when I should be thankful for it not being something so much worse. I hope you keep us updated and I will keep you in my prayers stay strong and good luck.
ОтветитьI’m so sorry you are having to go through this and yes keep making videos, I will watch, it’s you I like not your teeth. Also, you will be OK, keep as positive as you can be. My son is 42 and going through major tooth issues too!
ОтветитьThat is a massive wedding ring!💍
ОтветитьIs she that girl for the hair growth serum? 😮
ОтветитьThank you for sharing and your fears are valid.
ОтветитьHave the lot removed and get false teeth! At least we won't have to listen to your moaning! Jeez, what a diva! 😡🇬🇧
ОтветитьYou are so precious, since I had my son I've had teeth challenges as well. I am so blessed to have a good dentist as well. May the Lord bless you and your family, this shall pass to. It's going to be fine 🙏❣️
ОтветитьShea, I wish you the very best of luck and am sorry for what you are going through. I do not have the financial means to fix my teeth. You are fortunate. God bless you!
ОтветитьIm not sure how to share a utube video in the comments but 2 sermons that I have been repeatedly listening to lately that are helpful and encouraging are “ Jonathan Isaac Choose to be Encouraged “ and “Jonathan Isaac Heart Posture” they really do help when your feeling discouraged ❤
Ответить💥💥💥PLEASE READ: I had a root canal & felt the same "nerve" pain that goes down the neck. I learned to prevent this: brush teeth after each meal & drink (especially sugary drinks & food!). Maintain a high alkaline diet! Your digestive system plays a big role in the health of your teeth! Acid comes up while we sleep & sometimes during the day which will aggravate teeth, gums, fillings, root canals, etc. ACID is the problem! I ALWAYS brush my teeth with my fluoride free toothpaste, and dip the toothbrush in baking soda (high alkaline) EVERY TIME. If my tooth where root canal was gets aggravated, I brush my mouth with baking soda & toothpaste & the pain goes. Our bodies get acidic if we eat too much sugar, starches. Eat more greens!! Any veggie that is green & also avocados EVERY DAY. You can heal your gut, like I did, with "IgGI Shield" (1scoop with 1 tsp baking soda in water). It's better than a probiotic, & is around $78 for a month supply, but that's all I needed to completely heal my gut. Also, "Betaine HCL" will heal acid reflux. I also take baking soda in water when necessary, to alkaline body and/or combat gas.
After I learned to keep my mouth at a high PH, brushing with baking soda as often throughout the day as necessary & maintaining a low sugar/starches, high alkaline diet - my teeth have never been as healthy as they are now. Before then, I had cavities back to back & then the root canal - because of digestive issues, low PH & acid.
Healing your gut And brushing with baking soda will alkaline your body and you will stop grinding your teeth. Grinding, your teeth has to do with too much acid. I speak from experience
I had a similar issue with my bottom front teeth which caused me years of pain. It started with one tooth but then became so much worse all four bottom teeth were affected due to bone loss, and I had to have them extracted and replaced. I also had had a permanent retainer behind those teeth, which was a metal thing that stayed there permanently. I was terrified that I would never look the same. I'm very vain and was scared that it would ruin my face. Also, I'm not in a good position financially and couldn't go to a fancy Madison avenue dentist the way I used to, so I had to continue seeing a dentist at NYU College of Dentistry, where they are students. The good thing though, is that every step of the way is supervised by a specialist on the faculty.
After the extraction I had a temporary bridge while it healed. I don't know what you're talking about with the thing that would be removed! I was never toothless, which I was also worried about. When I finally got the permanent bridge it was ok, and looked good, but the fit and shape were not perfect and I wasn't happy with it, but then COVID hit and the college closed for months! Fast forward, it reopened and I went back and complained and was seen by the senior specialist faculty person who re-evaluated the fit, etc. and started over, and I had anxiety again, and many visits, and waiting, because everything moves very slowly at a school. The final result though, is excellent! I was never toothless, nothing was ever removable, the whistling sound when I speak is gone, my smile is excellent and it looks perfectly natural and no one would know it's a bridge! It's frightening when it's in front, but today they have techniques that are cosmetically undetectable. I've heard some questionable things that have happened with "holistic" dentists, and even though I'm that way in every other aspect of my life, when it concerns dentistry, that's the one time I wouldn't see one, and highly recommend staying mainstream. No dentist would use outdated, dangerous materials and all of them want good cosmetic results. I also would like to tell anyone in the same situation financially that you will get excellent results at a dental college, because every single thing is supervised by faculty, and the students who actually do the dentistry are in their final year.
