Hope y’all enjoy this little gem I found on my hard drive! Got an ULTRA BANGER coming up next 🎣😈
ОтветитьBro doesn't even have a landing net💀
ОтветитьIt definitely is challenging at furst
ОтветитьI would love to see you go for bass on the fly rod! Nice video.
ОтветитьMy setup will be here Wednesday and ill out on the river thirsday giving it a go. Going to be a shit show for sure but im excited.
ОтветитьThanks for this vid! The hook set and reeling in is hardly discussed on the beginner videos so this was exactly what I needed
Ответитьafter you set the hook dont pull and strip too hard or you will lose tension keep rod sideways and strip line control the rod and the fish before you strip line after setting it
Ответитьif you look up fly fishing everyone will drown you with info get a rod thats not too long for a starter then learn how to cast and throw a fly thats isnt too big for your rod and you are good to go.
ОтветитьYou will always miss more fish than what you will catch
ОтветитьThat dude Sky seems chill.
Ответить“THERES A TEN POUNDER!”😂
Ответить''My brother and I would have preferred to start learning how to fish by going out and catching a few, omitting entirely anything difficult or technical in the way of preparation that would take away from the fun. But it wasn't by way of fun that we were introduced to our father's art. If our father had had his say, nobody who did not know how to fish would be allowed to disgrace a fish by catching him. So you too will have to approach the art Marine and Presbyterian-style, and, if you have never picked up a fly rod before, you will soon find it factually and theologically true that man by nature is a damn mess.''
Ответитьthe first time I went fly fishing i somehow managed to pull in a 20 inch rainbow, hope 1rod can do the same.
ОтветитьAwesome, so cool see someone learning how to fly fishing!! Your friend taught you good lessons fly fishing!!! So cool seeing your excitement catching your first fish!!!! Great video 📹 👍🏻
ОтветитьSo much Fun, and a good teacher. Awesum.
ОтветитьIt's always funny how sporting elitist are. I got shunned at the local shooting range because I'd go pretty frequently and out shoot guys on the trap range with a 500 dollar Benelli shotgun while they're shooting 10k dollar custom built guns. After a few months of making them look bad they'd intentionally not tell me when meetings were and always tried to make sure I didn't get the fliers for events going on at the club. Ego is a sad thing
ОтветитьThis was great, thank you!
ОтветитьI love being out on a creek. Catching fish is just a reason to do it. Fly fishing takes brains and skill so I only do that. But the insane excitement guys get has fascinated me all my life.
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I just bought a fly rod and reel to try this year. Looks like a lot of fun.
ОтветитьMe and my dad have been dry fly fishing for 15+ years along the front range of northern Colorado and have caught some great fish to bat!! I caught my first master angler brown from a resevoir In Nederland last year on a size #14 blue wing olive 22 inch trout! Fly fishing is truly a blast and a great learning experience for many newcomers!! 😊💯🎣
ОтветитьI've been fly fishing for nearly 60 years, and I can't tell you how many people who found out I fly fished asked; "where do you catch trout around here?" You see, they ask that question because the water near me is warm water only, so my answer is, I fly fish for bass, bluegill, crappie, wipers, carp, gar, and I've even caught a few channel cats.
Welcome to the world of fly fishing... pay no attention to the purists because it's supposed to be about fun.
Where in nj
ОтветитьI fly fished here many times Raritan river below Chester nj
ОтветитьNice video, loving the passion
ОтветитьThis was hilarious 😂
ОтветитьIf there's anything I hate in this world, it's going fishing with an ADHD moron that's constantly shouting and stomping in the water. I'm irritated from just watching this. How difficult is it to act like an angler... seriously...
ОтветитьWe're do you fish for tame fish never tried it but willing to give it a go
ОтветитьSomeone needs to make a meme video of Master P's Make em say Ugh, but replace the Ughs with this guy saying 'UNNNGGGGG!!!!!' every time he hooks a fish.
ОтветитьGreat video man was so informative has definitely helped me learn to cast better
Ответитьnormal people fly fishing: * silence* 1rod fly fishing: AUGHHHHHHH I GOT A BITE!
ОтветитьTop video guys, that was exactly the right way to get people into the sport Fun Friendly Basic and Action,,,,, Quality work, right there👌👍✅
ОтветитьTry Tenkara fly fishing. A somewhat crude description is that it's basically a mix between western fly fishing and the Ugly Stick your buddy said he learned on. It's a long and extremely sensitive pole with the fly line fixed to the tip, so no reel. But compare it to fishing with fly line on a crappy pole and there are people who would want to give you a black eye over it. Personally the only difference I see between putting fly line on a crappy pole and true tenkara fishing is the sensitivity and weight of the pole. There are 20+ foot crappy poles just like there are 20+ foot tenkara rods.
Ответитьim Scottish and i fly fish this is ….. well different lol
ОтветитьThe aggression
ОтветитьI use my grampas fly rods for normal fishing and now I’m trying to learn so this was great
ОтветитьLove fly fishing. Keep it up!
ОтветитьMad respect! I could live eat and breathe flyfishing.
ОтветитьSkye you are a natural teacher and guide. Your student seemed to pickup casting quickly. Good video guys
ОтветитьI have been fly fishing for about 2 days and cault about 20 fish
ОтветитьBrook (speckled) Trout fishing is the biggest sport fishing in Nova Scotia! Was really happy to hear my province mentioned 👍
ОтветитьI have now been fly fishing for 6 hrs and have caught nothing.
Ответитьnah I'd rather reel fishing
ОтветитьRoll cast seems better
Ответитьi started fly fishing back in 2019 when i was 4
Ответитьlol I remember years ago I bought a nice combo fly set. I tried it once then put it away haha. It really is challenging.
ОтветитьI wouldn't recommend anyone try to learn fly fishing from this guy, you're going to pick up a lot of bad habits...that being said, I love watching videos like this, reminds of when I first started fly fishing and how awkward it was. It's crazy how fast you can progress though if you really love it.
