THROUGH THE LENSES - Quest 3 vs Quest 2 vs Quest PRO

Which one would you pick?

Does anyone know how the quality of locally transferred movies look on the Quest 3 compared to the Quest 2? Is it worth an upgrade from the Quest 2?

the difference of just the pro and the quest 3 is pheniomenal. i mean its a day and night difference in all aspects.

the leap the Meta has made since 2020 in the VR industry is insane and is actualy the greatest tech leap in terms of improvment from one product to another ever made in such a short time period

I kind of thought LCD made the images softer and washed out but at a higher resolution and it being sharper you can actually see SDE anyways. The Quest 2 actually has less SDE and it isn't that bad for those who don't want to see SDE. I would take SDE in OLED over SDE in LCD any day but I do think with a sharper image LCD colors look better and blacks look darker for sure making it more of a natural look over OLED. OLED looks saturated more and to me it's much more beautiful to look at that's why I like it personally. I rather be in a fantasy world than real world. It's now not about higher resolution but more FOV in headsets and better graphic PC games for the headsets. Graphics never got better on PC since HLA 2020 and the only thing happened is consoles and standalones is catching up to the 2016 PC VR graphics. People are complaining should be just waiting until devs make Steam only VR games again.

The biggest sin for me personally is the binocular overlap which is very distracting at times. Wish I'd kept my Quest 2

ma man ma man! was waiting for this video forever now. you are my go to person for VR cuz u are the only one who actually shows the lens and let me really figure out if its worth buying a headset. Was a bit impatient and went ahead and ordered a quest 3 just today. I guess from your video, I haven't made a wrong decision. Btw would love to see how PCVR fare. like Assetto Corsa Competitione, MSFS, DCS

I use not to see the SDE with my Quest 2, now with the Quest 3 I can clearly see the grid... That's a huge step back for me. I also have mura with my quest 3 that was near invisible on my quest 2.

Whats crazy is that when I first got my Q3 and I went on reddit and said that I could still see the screen door effect, they acted like I was lying. It is definitely there and clearly visible.
