I bought loads of games from X Box Live. They drop in Price Dramatically from £100 to £15 or so after a year. You can see game shots and Reviews. Some games like Dying Light 2 have terrible reviews but I really like it !!! I have an X Box 1 S with a Disk Drive, 2 Terrabyte, and a Seagate 8 Terrabyte Ext Hard Drive !!! I have 275 games stored in the Ext Hd Drive !!! The 2 Tb Internal Drive is empty and I still have 1 Terrabyte free on the Seagate !!! I want to retire the X Box 1 S because it's 8 years old and has worked perfectly for tens of thousands of Hours !!! I intend to buy an X Box Series X !!! I do have lots of Game Disks so I do not want the Series S !!!

i have the sires s and mine does 70 to 100 FPS on normal game and sometimes gets to 120 FPS

Imagine if Xbox just rented out there system for a small fee on top of game pass just like cable companies do with their equipment

Pretty happy with my first Xbox ever. I don’t have a 120 fps tv and not looking into buying one anytime soon so this works as a perfect upgrade from my ps4 pro

I want the small portable form factor over the performance increase that I'd see in the X. Hash-tag Semi Truck life. And plus, I'm only interested in the Xbox so I can spend what little free time I have playing games and talking with my kid. So there, parent goals vs my internal need to compete with my at home PC monster lol.

I've been a mac/ipad user for 10yrs so my gaming was basically the odd angry birds / candy crush. That was until last year december 2022, when a friend (who has a high end pc and a ps5) recommended series s + gamepass to me. I liked the idea and I told my wife about it. So she bought me a series s for xmas last year. This budget little concole has been perfect for introducing me to console gaming and ive loved every moment of it! That same friend also introduced me to beat sabre, I immediately went out and bought a meta quest 2 just so I could play it, have loved that as well but not as much as my little series s.

The storage isn't really that big of a problem. You delete some stuff and download the game you want while you're doing other things. I'm living in a country where the internet is from 200mbit and up, and even big games will take a couple of hours and you're good to go. A walk in the park, cleaning, job or watching a show and then your AAA is ready to boot!

Buy the series s it is amazing for the price

Real problem with series s is lack of games (game list is short) and compatibility issues in games for both (x&s) the s versions have a lot of bugs, glitches, freezes frequently and so on

I think the XBOX series S was built for customers like me or customers like me are a perfect fit for the XBOX series S

0/7. Here's my reasons why. 1st off I will not be upgrading storage because there is only two games I play. Warzone 2.0, and Warframe. Keep in mind there is also the cloud gaming which I will be willing to pay for the game pass. So, that knocks off two. Three, I have no physical games and I would rather enjoy the cloud and digital gaming. Four, my monitor is a 1080p so I will be able to get that nice performance and looks for gaming. Which answers five, I couldn't care less about graphics as long as I can play and it's visual and not like horribly pixelated. Six, I don't use consoles for media content, besides music for when I am gaming. Seven, I've been researching but I've been wanting a cheaper option since I am not quite good on money and I couldn't really care which gives what as long as I can play my favorite games.

PC only user here (so far), no consoles, no physical games, no BluRay media, only 1080p monitors and TVs, and the storage problem looks like it's going to be solved in the new version of the S.
On the other hand, I don't have time to play often, so even the Game Pass might not always make sense to me, and I don't think all the games I want to play are available on GP...
When I think about it, maybe the best option for me, at least for now, is to upgrade my current GTX1060 with a used graphics card and keep going on it...

The reason why I don't think anybody should get it as well as because apparently I bought an Xbox series s and my mom thought it was going to be a good device but it ended up trash because some games actually do not work as attended not only does it not work as it is intended but you do not have a disc drive which basically you cannot play any discs that basically is within the actual device and not only that but you also have to pay for the actual games that actually come with the Xbox store so yeah any of you that actually wants an actual Xbox series s do not get it not only that but the games actually get corrupted for no like it looks like blurry littrell colors that literally show up at the actual game like GTA I was playing GTA and it look like it was s*** and I feel like I was scamd at getting it

The series s is a badass little machine. DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYONE THAT TALKS BAD ABOUT IT!!! It is designed for casual players and it's amazing. I love mine does everything I need and want

Am with you, now i see the new Xbox series x for september 2024 will not have blue ray, nice. So you cannot play your dvd collections, its all going digitally which am not happy with, i have xbox one x, has 4k, running on a 4k, series s doses not run for 4k. Am a player that buys the game, ever the CD/DVD i play primary 4 games today, 3 are download and 2 are disc? But some resion farcry 5 will not load anymore. I have steam but cannot cross play, i have stopped buying game pass, in fact am trying to teach my son who is 10, why. 10 months sub you end up buying the game 5 times over. At the moment i cannot justify the cost for series x, just to play Starfield which is locked at 60 fps. am playing dying light 2 on my one x, love it no issues at all, so Microsoft why should i upgrade for one game.

You left out if you want to record or stream to utube. Yiu can only recird 4 minutes. Even the playstation 4 recorded a full hour. And yiu cant stream to utube which the ps5 can do. You can only stream to twitch. This is primitive.

The new series s had a bigger storage and the fps lowest on 120fps games is 110fps, the graphics are 4K not 2K now and it is only 349 in America and 500 in Europe and 550 in Australia.
