Pretty slimly to offer the poor lady a quote that she could not afford then offer to buy the watch as broken knowing you could easily fix it. Made it sound like he was rescuing the watch or something ... it clearly meant something to her if she wore it on her neck and was trying to get it working.
ОтветитьLove my Hamilton Lunar Phase ....
ОтветитьPlease do a Part 2 of this fascinating man's collection.
ОтветитьVery nicely executed a true craftsman but $13,000.00 for the first watch ?
ОтветитьTeddy, I wish you would walk everyone through his whole collection that he sells!
ОтветитьTeddy. Come on man! I wish you referenced some pictures when you guys were talking. Map locations or the watches! I am so happy to see Roland getting more notoriety!!
ОтветитьThat RGM jump hour is amazing.
ОтветитьLove to see some more watches, very nice 👌. 🇬🇧
ОтветитьWhat the Hell is up with the "Mason's watch?" Those dudes are Satanic.
ОтветитьRoland is truly America's greatest watchmaker. I cherish the time that I've spent talking watches with Roland
Ответить'from the very early 1890's, 1896 I think it was.'
ОтветитьPlease produce another video of RGM and Roland. Perhaps you can feature some of the operations and custom watchmaking services. Also, didn't realize the Lancaster area had a watchmaking heritage... Can you revisit some of its history. Thank you.
ОтветитьWow! what an incredible video! I live inb PA, and am proud to know RGM is here too
ОтветитьYes please, another episode with another batch of his watches!
ОтветитьTHANKS,,GOOD INFO
ОтветитьTeddy, lovely work. I love your passion, your super work for watch lovers. Keep it up. Thank you.
ОтветитьHow refreshing, Teddy. It is entirely unpretentious, and evokes personal stories from the guest which don't necessarily translate to any influence from how watches are marketed today. They seem to be genuine stories of how a person (in this case, a renowned watchmaker) enjoys their watches without the baggage of any status quo whatsoever. I'm starting to feel like this series is easily more enjoyable than Talking Watches because the guests are 'watch people' - not in the elitist sense but one who's informed about watchmaking, its functionality and design and how they're incorporated into personal use. Safe to say I'm not the only person here who really enjoys and want to consume watch content without the air and snobbery part of it.
ОтветитьI could watch 2 hours of this. Amazing, glad you're able to help tell these stories.
ОтветитьThe Masonic one is awesome!!!
ОтветитьOoo the chime sounds so nice❤❤
ОтветитьAlways an interesting episode when RGM is involved. He seems a truly nice and genuine person and is a treasure trove of watch/pocketwatch history. Oh, that VC pocketwatch was to die for!
ОтветитьWhat an amazing interview. Thanks Teddy and thank you Roland! I really enjoyed this one.
ОтветитьAwesome video on a fantastic American watchmaker.
ОтветитьAmazing content! By all means, part 2 is a must! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьLove this type of content! Congratulations and thanks, Teddy!👏🏼👏🏼
ОтветитьAbout time. No pun intended. I’m an hour from RGM and it’s an amazing place
ОтветитьAmazing collection, love the VC minute repeater and the Flightmaster! another great video
ОтветитьTeddy, thank you for saying “Lancaster” correctly! 🙏 I’m going to RGM as soon as I get back in town to shake Roland’s hand!
ОтветитьHallo Teddy, so interesting to here from a watchmaker, how he started and what interesting pieces. Enjoyed it very much. As I am currently visiting another country, so thanks from Israel 🇮🇱, rachel
ОтветитьSuper!!!😊😊😊
ОтветитьI really enjoyed watching this . Thanks Tedday for the excellent continent and for Mr Murphy for sharing the amazing stories . Top notch content
ОтветитьAwesome interview.
ОтветитьThat enamel dial is really very nice. tbh it looks better than many of the Swiss enamel offerings that are significantly more expensive.
Ответитьgreat video....more like this please. no fluff no sales, just a guy that loves his watches.
ОтветитьI for one, would love to see and hear more from Roland. Great video!
ОтветитьBrilliant interview of a brilliant man
ОтветитьLoved the gentleman.
Loved the story.
Fantastic video, keep this kind of content coming!
ОтветитьAmazing man, I'd love to buy him a beer sometime.
ОтветитьThe last watch...so nice. I'd also be wearing that lol
ОтветитьHodinkee really missed out on interviewing the amazing man. Glad you took up the gauntlet!
ОтветитьGreat show! Great collection! Great watchmaker!
ОтветитьWhat an amazing man could literally listen to him all day. More please
ОтветитьThat was one of the most enjoyable presentations.
Thanks.
Round 2, please, when?
ОтветитьWe need a series with Roland, this made me want to go be his understudy!
ОтветитьDo a video on watches for men that work with their hands
ОтветитьThe story of American watchmaking is bittersweet. I know that every business has a lifespan. The thought of a great like Hamilton withering slowly away, saddens me, just a little.
