One of the greatest "unknown" guitarists out there ever. It's like Ry Cooder and Arlen Roth had a love child. That Acoustic is beautiful, sound wise and astecially, I personally prefer the darker toned woods, which is why my epiphone masterbuilt has a cedar top...

To me, the less "adorned" they are, the better. Love that simple look. And Cort DOES have the bang-for-buck thang down!

Dude, You could make a plastic bag sound amazing. I wish I could play guitar like this. WOW. I have found one of these guitars for R5500. That's south African Rands, which equates to 30,12 Dollars. Bwhahaha. But still R5500 is a lot of money for us here in South Africa.

Tell us a little more about the frets. I also want to compliment your playing. Did you listen to a lot of Johnny Winter? Like him you have great control over your thumb and fingers on your picking hand. I never could get good at playing with my thumb and fingers. I use a pick and the other 3 fingers. It just feels more natural to me using a hybrid style of picking. Keep sending us those fantastic sounds you make

I bought a Cort OC Mahogany partially due to your review. I'm amazed at how a guitar I paid just over $600 for can sing like that guitar does. I've owned it for two weeks and I find myself grabbing it over my much more expensive guitar for just picking on the couch. It's fantastic for finger style. I definitely don't regret my purchase. This is a perfect solid wood and lightweight gigging guitar, travel guitar, or just pick on the back porch guitar.

I recently bought the Blackwood Model and I love this guitar! There is nothing wrong with it: Great tone, Differentiated sound with a nice emphasis on the mids and an earthy bass foundation. Beautiful all solid woods, well crafted without flaws in and outside. Plays like butter allover the fretboard. At this price you can‘t go wrong.

A question though the Cord has ‘cord’ plugged in and you mention a pickup in the video; as a newbie, I thought acoustic meant non-wired. Will this guitar play ‘around the campfire’? i have a cort parlor with rosewood sides and neck, maple top, 3 piece maple / rosewood back, nice herringbone inlays, and a 12th fret neck join, and, it sounds at least as good as any martin or taylor or takimine or tanglewood or maton or whatever
