As a resident of Polk County Florida, I can say that there a “mess” of gators in Lake Hancock. Wonder if Mike caught lunch with Sheriff Grady Judd? And I must say, in defense of our county, we don’t all talk like that!

I dont eat tilapia, but if It was between a farm raised or wild caught, it would definitely be wild caught. Farm raised tilapia that is shipped into the states from Asia are pretty much raised in giant latrines. Those tilapia eat the human excriment where the farmers live in huts over the ponds and also do their business into the water where the fish are kept captive. So if you order farm raised tilapia that tastes crappy, that's probably the reason.

I would marry Mike Rowe for everything he's done. (I'm straight, but come on!!) This episode was kinda weird. It just wasn't that interesting. Total respect for the Wadley's, but nothing really grabbed me. I'm still gonna watch all of them tho. 🤪

Lake Hancock used to be the #1 most gator populated lake in Florida, through decades of hunting it has dropped to #3. No way in HE!! would I get in that lake. My dad pulled a 13 foot 2 inch gator out of there in 89 that was missing close to 2 foot of it's tail. And for those wondering, the infamous big alligator that is always pictured going through the golf course, that is just a few miles from lake Hancock.
