Best VR Graphics Settings For iRacing | Best Performance And Image Quality

I was about to call you out for referring to a GTX 1070 as low endy, but I suppose even a year ago (I'm writing this in September '23) its heyday as an upper tier GPU had been numbered for some time. I'm running a GTX 1660 Super and accidentally screwed up my graphics settings that had me seeing right around 80FPS on most tracks using OpenXR and I'm now having a tough time getting much over half that. I think it may be time for me to consider pulling the trigger on an RTX 4060 or maybe an RTX 3060 Ti if I can reassure myself that my PSU won't become an issue with the 3060Ti pulling up to 200W, 75W more than my current 1660 Super. The 4060 in contrast actually comes in at 10W lower than the 1660 Super, so it's kind of the obvious choice as long as I'm able to find one at a price I can afford. For the moment though I'm in search of what the heck might have gotten changed in the graphics setup that has cost me half the performance I was seeing prior to my unfortunate decision to screw with the settings. I have once again proven that I can be a world class idiot. 😕

Which one do you use, openvr or openxr?

Did you try turning dynamic objects off? This is the setting that effect FPS the most.

What are your NVidia control panel driver settings?

I don’t really get how fps works but I went from over 200 to 90 with the vr but it still looks good and very responsive

imma try in am its a lil different then my settings now but makes sense good vid straight to point!

Hi mate just got 1 and when i go on it my csl dd has to go on calabration mode for it to work and it dont save all of my binding buttons. Do you know why
