Courses are to show you what’s possible and expand your known to unknown. You won’t ever learn programming or development unless you make your own projects.

I actually started watching the 100days of python course. I can't stress how great it is. Now I find myself consistently finishing 1day part everyday and also learning many new things and finally solidifying the concepts i Learned through building projects. Its really great. Might watch cs50 course and data algorithms for future.

Can someone help me quickly, I bought python zero to hero on udemy, should I refund and by 100 days course. I was debating on which one to buy but I just decided to go with the zero to hero, but it's kind of weird using the jupyter notebook but idk

I think the hardest thing about learning how to program is the teachers that are bad at teach and don’t breakdown the logic of what is happening step by step. They jump from basic to super advance in a very short amount of time.

100 days of code is wicked, but for a complete beginner it’s more like 6 months of code at least lmao

I started taking the Swift Development course on Udemy from Angela Yu and I'm surprisingly engaged in the videos. I have no doubt the "100 days of code" does the same!

I wouldn't recommend Angela's courses, not the 100 days Python one at least. Such courses that are packed with too many technologies into one single course, often turn into a disaster. That course starts out good and will certainly help someone build their basics, but it starts going downhill at some point (can't remember as it's been a long time), and many others have noted that it's not up to date. There are other good courses for python on udemy.

I have failed with React, the problem is all these technologies are not well established, a lot of things are changing dynamically as you learn, even something a year or two old is already obsolete, you branch into things that are useless, and time is wasted. It's more of a hit-and-miss, wish you luck, everyone who quits makes your quest a bit easier.

Hey I have bought that Udemy course on Independence Day discount, got it for ~ ₹400 roughly around $5.

What I also found really great and is showing me progress is The Odin Project. I've finished a master in Management Systems Informatics yet nothing really sticked to me. I also took multiple udemy courses with no great success, yet the TOP really helped me learning web development due to the course being projects based and making you think a lot of problem solving.

I would strongly disagree about Angela Yu courses, all of them on Udemy are outdated, and not being updated. Some of them are so outdated that the technology or the way it used to work before isn't around anymore.

I have like 4k (192to be exact) in courses haven’t finished more than 15-20 but it has pod for itself 50x over.

I so wish someone made a video like this for Financial Analysts. Im doing so many courses on Corporate Finance Insititue, Coursera has a course from Wharton, and doing some LinkedIn Learning courses

Cs50 is not good...

40 years programming, quick advice. Write code. Small working systems. Make them bigger over time. You should be doing this in your own time, say 60 hours a week, after school/job. You don't need a social life at all. Just keep coding. Every so often, get some 10 minutes injection of new ideas from clowns on your tube. 10 minutes is all it takes for a really engaging trainer. And then go write code to implement what you just learned. Stick with the one technology toolkit until you have finished the projects you have in progress. Then make sure you know how to deploy. Everything you do in this learning phase has to be all by yourself. Now write some more code. And write some more code. And if you aren't coding at 3am, 4am & 5am on your weekends, you will never make it as a coder. Your welcome! Now go write some code.

Currently taking Dr. Angela's 100 days of code course. Got it at just 389INR ( 4.68$). I'd say its worth every penny even if u get it at higher price if u want to learn programming by doing it and not just by watching it.
