Why am I paying for Harvard's so called experts to teach me! You did more to show me how to set up a problem than my professor who wrote the book on biostats!
Ответитьthankyu
ОтветитьCame here for step 1 and step 2, back for step 3. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP!!!!!!
ОтветитьYou Beauty
ОтветитьIn question explained at 16 mins onwards, of course the FN and FP get smaller. if you look at the two lateral edges of the graph, the TP and TN also get smaller when we come from blue to red but you did not take them into account. If you take them into account, then there will be no change.
ОтветитьHow many of you are using this video to study for the Step 3 now?👋 Ready to be over with biostatistics lol
ОтветитьAmazing! 😍
ОтветитьStep 1
Step 2
Step 3
Several years later and I'm watching this for Am Board of Internal Medicine. Thank you again for carrying the team all these years!
I’m actually in awe!!! I wish I could like this video a million times
ОтветитьWould someone please explain the difference between sensitivity, and PPV (not in terms of the formula / equations, rather) in words .. as per UWORLD "Positive predictive value (PPV) of a diagnostic test answers the following question: what is the probability that a patient has the disease given a positive test result?
Sensitivity determines how well the test identifies the people with the disease. "
Other than just saying it differently, what the heck is the difference ?
Thanks!
Ответитьwow! amazingly Fast And Simple!!!! cannt thank you enough!
ОтветитьThanks for explaining so clearly. I have seen experts fail in explaining this. Brilliant !!!
ОтветитьKeep watching this every year. You are genius. Thx u❤
Ответитьhow do I send you questions to help me and those learn from?
ОтветитьBrilliant
ОтветитьThe real MVP
ОтветитьGosh dang it, this guy is SO good! Thanks for putting this together.
Ответитьpure goldddddd
Ответитьi think RR ratio calculation at 24.30 has some error.Isnt that a/(a+b)/c/(c+d) would dividing 80/(220+80)/920/(920+1280)=0.57
plz correct me if i am wrong.....thank u
All the concepts were amazing... thank you so much for.your video... just a little query, Is it only me who thinks answer of last one given is incorrect??? The last ques should have answer 10.. as 210 minus 190 is not 10 remaining but 20 remaining.. so half of 20 is 10.. so answer is 10.. concept was correct just calculation mistake..
Ответитьcase-contrOl/cohoRt - look at 2nd to last letter so Odds ratio for case-contrOl and Relative risk for cohoRt
ОтветитьWow that was so simple and so helpful! Thank you!
ОтветитьCan we get some step 2 and 3 content for biostats too? :)
ОтветитьAmazing video ❤
ОтветитьThank you!!! Good blessyou🤗
ОтветитьI’ve never understood biostatistics before.. I’m glad I took the time to go over all your videos
Thank you Dr. Neil, you’re a LEGEND ❤
is it me or the relative risk formula he used is different than first aid?
ОтветитьYou saved my life
ОтветитьOMG the way you explained Cohort vs case control, and odds ratio vs RR is sooooooo much better than any textbook combined. Finally understand the difference🤯
ОтветитьThank you x ♾️ 🙏🙏
ОтветитьThanks a lot
It helped 👏🏽👏🏽
This was so good, I almost shed a tear
ОтветитьIts 2023 and you are still saving students for the biostats section in step 1 ! We love you!!
ОтветитьDr. Neil doesnt have any idea how much he is helping students! So thankful to you sir. May God bless you! I suggest no one read the FA Biostats chapters, as you will learn nothing. Please watch Dr. Randy Neil videos!
ОтветитьExcellent videp
ОтветитьI think your formulas are wrong-- Odds ratio =(a/c)/(b/d) and relative risk is [(a/a+b) / (c/c+d)]
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьYou do that you get it right!
ОтветитьThank you making statistics easy to understand!
ОтветитьThank you so much for doing these!
ОтветитьAlong with UWorld being the undefeated resource for USMLE , we must include Randy Neil and Dirty Medicine as undefeated video sources.
Both of you should be promoted as compulsory learning resources for USMLE.
in regards to the blue to pink problem, it looks to me like the area of all the aspects get smaller. Why are we only regarding the False negatives and positives as getting smaller?
ОтветитьI love it
