It’s a little different and more Spanish than what we speak at home but nonetheless it’s Quechua and it makes me feel proud to be a part of this culture.
I've never heard "parlani" to say "I speak" from Quechua native speakers in my region (Cusco). Instead, it's used "rimani".
This is the first time, really interesting. I wonder where his Quechua dialect is from or if maybe it was influenced by another language he was exposed to or ... his parents from whom he learned Quechua. Because in Spanish 'to speak' is 'hablar'. 'Parlani' will come from Italian 'parlare' or French 'parler'.
