is the "gradient" input just a single point? If so, then doesn't that leave the drivers "myopic" and unable to see the road ahead? It feels like for AI to get really good at the game it would need make moves ahead of time to pass difficult areas since there is retained momentum involved here.
Or is it just better just keep the model simple and not "overfeed" inputs perhaps? I haven't toyed with AI yet, so I don't know what is considered best pratices
