Does anyone else's stupid ass brain in the scene that follows this knows deep down that the movie is gonna follow history and Titanic will hit the iceberg but your always in suspense hoping they just barely miss it even though you know full well it's not going to miss? Or is that just me

The better man won the girl's heart. Jack wanted Rose to have a quality life that fit her spirit, Cal wanted her to be HIS WIFE, like a possession. Normal for the period, but Rose preferred death to that life. Jack was the only choice for who she was in 1912. The later lady she became could be with that other fellow.

The captain's assistant just smiled because he saw how in love they were which is so adorable. Even just listening to the Titanic instrumental theme song makes me want to cry because it reminds me of the what could have beens

If the look out men had been focused on the sea and not distracted watching jack and rose kiss, they probably could have sent a warning on time to avoid the ice berg 😔

Despite what happens shortly after, at this point this was the happiest moment of their lives

Sometimes I like to just end the movie here and pretend it was a good romance movie with a happy ending :)

Fact: The actual date the ship was suppose to launch is March 20 which is my Birthday, If they launched on that date maybe the iceberg wouldn't have been in its way, BUT NO I FEEL SO SAD
