Can you add a 12 volt power outlet near the instant hot water system, and then put a small heating pad in there to keep it over 40?
ОтветитьMy F350 6.2 gasser i's so frigging loud ear protection is required on steep hills
ОтветитьMay I ask how you spec'd the 350 to handle the payload? That Camper is about 3,000 LBS without fluids or personal effects. I see some folks claiming a F450 or F550 is the way to go.
ОтветитьThis looks like a real professional setup. Do you mind giving me an estimate of what these two items (truck/camper) costs? I'm trying to compare with a class b or c.
ОтветитьGreat review ! 🎉
ОтветитьAbout your cabinet paint, I highly recommend you paint all your cabinets a lighter color. It adds so much brightness and makes it feel more roomy. It’s actually a highly trending thing people are doing when renovating
ОтветитьGreat to watch your videos guys! I would love to do what you guys do, maybe someday...have fun and keep camping...😊
ОтветитьAwesome Review 👌 🎉. I feel like getting one sometime.
ОтветитьI could totally live in that . By myself tho lol
ОтветитьLoved this. I loved that it was fast moving. Good job!
ОтветитьThis is looking more and more like the way to go.
ОтветитьGreat video! Fyi, you can add a soft start to your AC unit to help with off grid Battery/inverter options. Switch out to a hot water tank. Mine has a motor aid option where the truck coolant is plumbed into the hw tank so you arrive somewhere with more than warm water.
ОтветитьOur trailer had a regular 8 gallon water heater and every time we turned the water off while showering and then back on to rinse, it was always cold. I believe it just gets cold in the line, especially during the winter. So I don't believe the tankless water heater is to blame entirely as we had the same problem. We almost bought a Lance camper but opted for a travel trailer as our truck wasn't big enough. I really like the Lance campers and trailers. They are well made.
ОтветитьYou guys should hang tapestries or something that moves easily to cover your light panels.
ОтветитьCool! Reminds me of the camper my Grandfather had growing up in the 70's.
ОтветитьConcise evaluation! Some of my experience; Why a truck camper? I spent time in the construction industry and traveled to jobsites with first a 5th wheel, then Class A. then class C. If you want to live in a trailer park the 5th wheel and class A are too big to just boondock or even find a place to park; so trailer park to trailer park. The truck camper is looked at by most people as just a 'canopy' and not a living unit so you won't get grief over parking on a side street. Retired now we spend our winters in Az. After 15 years exp. I started with a single rear wheel truck but you must use heavy duty tires ( had custom 22.5 rims made), add rear air bags/overloads to get rid of sway. Now have DRW F450 with bags. Camper; biggest Arctic Fox with single slide, will be getting the very best next time a Host Mammoth with three slides! Don't go tankless on water heater, use the microwave, and the onboard generator runs the A/C. You can park anywhere and with our electric bikes, this is perfect!
ОтветитьClearance is very important, Learned that the hard way
ОтветитьHappy campers are the best campers. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThank you for that in depth review of having a camper and those interesting mods.
ОтветитьIt's so much faster to use white vinegar n water in a spray bottle for washing dishes. Plus plus you don't waste all that water. Plus plus, it helps kill back bacteria. And you don't have to rinse!!!
ОтветитьWhat I want to know is, how do you get your hair so shiny ?
ОтветитьJust a observation you guys really work together exceedingly well 😊 Love Ruthie
ОтветитьAwesome 👌
ОтветитьWhy would you have a hummer anyway
ОтветитьLove the camper! Reminds me of our truck camper back in the 70’s! BRINGS BACK GOOD MEMORIES❤! Happy travels to y’all😊
ОтветитьLove the desert location. Can you give us a clue what part of Arizona this is located? New subscriber, thanks
ОтветитьI always run hot and cold on these. One day it sounds great and the next not. Not sure how many miles are on their truck but I'm thinking this is likely a $70k to $80k setup ($50k to $60k for the truck and $20k to $25k for the camper) . Quite a few other options in that price range (used class C etc.).
ОтветитьThe bed looks so comfortable.
ОтветитьWhere do you dump your toilet waste?
ОтветитьD&H RV & Marine in Apex, NC is having a truck camper owners rally (all brands) November 3-5, 2023 at Jordan Lake State Park. Would be great to meet you.
ОтветитьI enjoyed your review!! I have a Lance cabover, 1996 model, LOL!! I pull my horse trailer with my F250 2009 model (been bullet proofed). LOVE the camper. My bathroom door swung open so I removed it, since no strangers camp with me, LOL!!!
ОтветитьIm 43. Im wondering if I should go with truck camper or van. The truck camper seems a better deal because you can replace Truck still have a home.
What im wondering is acess to truck camper. Is there steps you can get? Curiouse at age 60 would I fall over and break my hip lol.
eupticlictus plant would be ideal for these campers
ОтветитьWe just sold our truck camper. We loved that camper but we are 70 now and our mobility isn’t what it used to be. We had such fun over the years traveling around the US. We now have a Winnebago travel trailer. The journey continues!
ОтветитьIt's actually surprisingly roomy!
ОтветитьIf my wife and I can ever afford to get an RV I have decided that this might be the way to go. The home is always with you, you do not have to worry about someone stealing/vandalizing a trailer while you run into town, smaller total footprint, go anywhere, and such. Great video.
ОтветитьBuy one of those outlet checker things . It will tell you if outlet is ok. Maybe a loose wire
Ответитьbetween his soy boy body odor and her maxi pad smell that camper must reek
ОтветитьYOU ~ ROCK ! ! 🤛
ОтветитьThis is what I want! Which do you buy first? The camper or the truck? Subscribed.
ОтветитьWell done guys. You two make a nice couple. Happy trails.
ОтветитьWhat do you use for reliable internet WiFi connection while boondocking?
ОтветитьI've been living in my 2018 850 Lance truck camper since I bought it new. I'm actually sitting here in my dinette writing this comment.
My two favorite jokes on why I love my camper life. If I don't like my neighbors I can get new ones in about 5 minutes. If I don't like the weather then drive until I do.
Ok my advice for winter months is get a compact dehumidifier. Get a small ceramic heater to balance your main furnace to prevent constant cycling on and off. However don't place the ceramic heater to close to the thermostat or else the main furnace won't cycle on enough to prevent holding tanks from freezing. By the way my feelings are that the world is my livingroom. My camper is my base camp. Oh and used drier sheets removes insects easily with water from the front of your truck and camper. No need harsh chemicals. Anyway enjoy the great outdoors.
Now back to my 9Barista espresso latte.
That was great news about everything you hit on. But why diesel as opposed to gas? I mean is the cost a issue?
ОтветитьCouldn't you just use that air conditioner as a fan
ОтветитьHow do you pay? Your bills???Jobs????
ОтветитьWhen doing dishes, I take a pan that will be washed, fill it with the “first water” (cold) and heat it on the stove. It heats quickly and by then the hot water is running into in the rinse dishpan. Then I add the heated water to the wash water. This routine actually saves on water use by not wasting the “first water”.
Sorry if I don’t explain this as clearly as I should, but I hope you know what I mean.
