This is absolutely fabulous! Robert you've done it again. Just when I thought the owl vids were my favourites, now you rock the foxes! I have a vixen who lives in a small patch of woods on my 13 acres and i love to watch her mousing scross the fields.

The screech owls were at it last night too.

Two vixens are probably either sister or mother and daughter. Foxes can be really territorial when stranger foxes come. But sometimes sisters or mother and daughter will collide and raise their young. Teamwork is typically seen in pair but being mates a fox and vixen

I had no idea what foxes' litter sizes usually were, that foxes ever co-parented, that foxes behaved differently in the city than the country, and much more. I suppose that the dog-fox was the father of both litters, most likely? Thank you!

I saw similar creche behaviour with a family of foxes I followed in Cambridge during 2019. 8 cubs two vixens (cubs split 6 and 2) and a dog fox. All happily rubbing along. Then in 2022 I witnessed 3 cubs from 2021, help raise the 2022 litter. It was amazing. Foxes never cease to amaze me. Thanks for these videos and the live feed from the den.

Absolutely wonderful to watch. I have a family of foxes been coming for 2 years, I put nuts and chicken out for them. We went to Lakes for a week last week now we are back I am waiting for them to return.❤

Oh, how delightful. We have a little thriving family in our neighbourhood. I've enjoyed watching them. The cubs are now out and about, playing. So adorable.

I watched a fox trying to give birth in my secluded garden on the 13/04/2024. After over 3 hour's she, disappeared. Whether she had cubs undercover there, or she left my garden. Since then I have seen her passing through a couple of times. On the 04/05/2024 I saw her lying in the sun in my garden. Could that be her trying out the area before bringing cubs out or would it be too soon to expect cubs coming out just now? She is very nervous of me if I show myself at the window. Thanks for for the reply. Last year I found a friendly fox in my garden. That was after I was feeding him at the same corner. One day, he appeared while I was sitting on a garden chair in the middle of the grass with my crutches by me, breaking up some twigs. After that he appeared more frequently aware of me using my crutches to move about. Then, while I was sitting working in the garden, he would lie down and close his eyes, about 5 feet away from me. Some times he would quite openly burry some foot that I had put out for him early on, in front of me and just behind me. I think I finally found his trust in me.❤ T.P.M.Ferri
