using a dimpled knife helps the potatoes from not sticking to knife. I see after every slice you have to flick it off
ОтветитьThis recipe is so delicious. My family enjoyed it. Thank you.
ОтветитьLooking forward to trying this. Thank you
ОтветитьLooks amazing
Thank You
My favorite dish to make of yours 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
ОтветитьI’m giving this a try tonight, it’s in the oven and I cannot wait to dig into this casserole ❤❤❤
ОтветитьHey, a great idea! I'm going to make a couple changes, though, due to stuff I have on hand. I've got some cooked bacon in the fridge, so I'm going to sprinkle that over the potatoes before adding the first cheese layer. I also have some scallions (green onions) and I think those should go between the meat and white sauce. Finally, being a cheese fanatic and having plenty, I'm going to double the cheese, using half sharp cheddar and half Monterey Jack for each layer. (I might even throw a little parm in the béchamel.) But thanks for the basic concept; this is gonna be dinner tonight!
ОтветитьI think I love you!!!! 🥰
ОтветитьLooks so delicious ❤
ОтветитьAwesome it came out great your the best
ОтветитьThis is so dang good! Tooo good I wanted to lap the whole casserole up!!! The spices are spot on throughout the dish. I didn't have beef broth this time so substituted with Knorrs Beef Bouillon 2 tsp for 2 cups of water and added a capful of Kitchen Bouquet. It turned out fine! Video was to the point thanks for making it easy for us with all the videos and time you take to present these wonderful recipes. None have ever failed you can count on them being GOOD!
ОтветитьThis was soo good and first time my bechamel came out fluffy 😍
ОтветитьI'm gonna make that tonight ❤❤
ОтветитьI bought her cook book, this recipe is not in the book.
ОтветитьThis looked delicious so I decided to make it, it’s in the oven. Hopefully it will come out as yummy. I must say, not sure if I measured the flour incorrectly for the bechamel sauce, but it came out much thicker for me.
ОтветитьI don’t see how people don’t wash they potato’s
ОтветитьStop you can’t cook apparently let’s try cross stitch you dumb dog
ОтветитьKeep the skin on the potatoes that’s where all the vitamins are.
ОтветитьI saw a video where they used a cheese grater to slice potatoes like you did & I can’t believe I never thought of doing it that way.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing looks banging.
ОтветитьI don't saw my way through veggies when i chop them. Push the knife through the veggie and let the knife do the work. Just chop
ОтветитьIt looks very good, however , too many ingredients and too many steps. Recipes should be simple. Maximum 3 to 4 ingredients and a few steps.
Ответить♥️💚♥️💚
ОтветитьGarlic powder & onion powder are completely unnecessary (as well as redundant) when you're already adding a whole chopped fresh onion & 3 minced cloves of garlic.
ОтветитьMines in the oven smell amazing thank you
ОтветитьLooks very good, I will definitely try it. I routinely never peel my potatoes, no matter what variety I use, the skins add flavor, color, fiber, and most importantly, nutrition missing in the pulp.
ОтветитьI followed this as closely as possible (I added a grated carrot) and it's in the oven now. going to be great!
ОтветитьMan this looks good. I just subscribed. Thanks
ОтветитьLooks delicious! I make a version of this, but I like yours better. My husband will love this. Thanks for the recipe. Kindness, Teresa
ОтветитьThis casserole is delicious! I did make the mistake of not parboiling the potatoes long enough and my family loved it anyway but I covered with foil and baked it for an additional 15 minutes. Absolutely amazing.
ОтветитьYummy
ОтветитьI just got back from the grocery store with my ingredients. Gonna do ricotta instead of the cream sauce you made and turkey instead of beef. Also gonna add some carrot.
ОтветитьLOOKS AMAZING!!
ОтветитьThis is delicious, but the white sauce seized up, so I just poured the canned milk on top of the potatoes. I accidentally used turkey gravy mix with the HB and it came out good. Any leftover milk I poured over the entire casserole and it came out pretty creamy.
ОтветитьIsn't it true that if you use to much Kitchen Bouquet it might have a burn taste
ОтветитьMmmm mmmm mmmmm!
ОтветитьToo much work for a casserole
ОтветитьIt is not Beef You are using Lamb!!!!
ОтветитьBella girly. I'm a indigenous grandma. Thats my family way of cooking. You are awesome. You must be family ❤❤❤❤. San Antonio TX
ОтветитьLooking delicious
ОтветитьOmg, stop pushing that potato off. It will slide off with your next slice.😂
ОтветитьCould I make this a head of time, like a day earlier and just keep in the fridge until the next day and then cook it? I've made this recipe twice and it's absolutely fantastic! When company is invited over it would be nice to do it the day before. Would that work? This recipe is a keeper, for sure!
ОтветитьIf I cut my potatoes 1/4" thick, how many slices will I have to cut if I don't flatten the edge. We don't have large spuds like America does so how many spuds will I need using the metric system? In our Country we have metric time, e.g. we have 100seconds to the minute. Can you send this recipe using the non American measurements and without the cheese please?
ОтветитьIve always wonder this....why use dried onion when you put chopped onion in it? same with the garlic/garlic powder. Just curious.
ОтветитьThankyou
ОтветитьToo slow..we know how to cut potato
ОтветитьYou need a wire potato masher for browning the beef.
ОтветитьI changed this up a bit and made an Italian version by switching out the beef for Italian sausage, adding tomato paste to the meat mixture and using Italian herbs and spices. Then I turned the bechamel into a mornay by adding Parmesan and Fontina cheeses to it. I used mozzarella in place of the Cheddar as well. It's in the oven now! Thanks for the idea. Looks like a great recipe!
ОтветитьLooks so good Thank you for sharing ❤
