1. If i am going to open PPF account from July onwards ( 1-5day ). So my Investing period of one year is July 23 to july 24. Is in it right??
2. If i miss the monthly investment ( like monthly 5000 per month) & for 4 to 6 months, what will happen? Can i get penalty for missing month or the general penalty for a year ??

I gave standing instruction to my bank in such a way that bank will will deduct money from SB and credit to PPF account every month on 5th day.. does my contribution will be considered for interest calculation? Or i should give another standing instruction for 4th day of evry month.. little confused.

Bro I checked with ppf calculator .suppose we invest lumsum rs.150000, or else 12500 per month gives same return ie (40L) . There is no difference between split up an lumsum . May ur 1st point correct. But how you r telling they are calculating simple interest of every month . ( 7.1) with in 5 th . Do you have any regards. If there pls share on descriptions and ppf calculator .
