The alternate control option gives unrealistic experience of the actual gameplay of the classic resident evil. It makes it way too easy to avoid the zombies and other monsters. I wish they didn’t include this option in the remake

Are we all just going to keep ignoring the fact that the T-Virus should have infected Jill or Chris? I mean, this game is extremely difficult to beat with no damage!

Always set the controls to original and the camera to fixed for a much better intended experience.
The moving camera is zoomed in giving you a smaller and less sharp picture.
The modern controls make you move and turn faster thus cheating.

Good to see games like that. Modern games like call of duty and medal of honour are stupid and look alike

They should've made the camera Follow along... I think that's the most annoying thing about RE1.

I know this is a stretch, but watching this game like this help me see that they actually did an amazing job crafting Jill's character.

She's actually really great at her job and a decent person, like this helped give me a true sense that she's really an expert agent and not just some green as grass day 1 rookie.

Like she was really the right person for the original job, nonetheless all of this zombie stuff.

Remember, this was like the 1st game of its kind so we didnt have the same awareness of zombies Nor this game's storyline back then 😅

Cool that you are playing a Resident Evil 1 Remake. I really like Resident Evil 1. I started playing Resident Evil 1 originale on the Ps1. Later i played Resident Evil 1 OG on the Nintendo Ds. Now i am playing Resident Evil 4 Remake. Keep it up with your channel.

Love this game. Hardly any time to play games these days. I rediscovered it yesterday and remembered that I downloaded it years ago on PS4. Starter to play through with Jill (the master of lockpicking!) yesterday. It’s just an absolute pleasure to play. Slow, atmospheric and unsettling. I must say, even on easy difficulty, it still presents a bit of a challenge.

I put this game on my PS5 for my girlfriend to play and couldn't continue after the first zombie because she was scared. That is how this game still lives up until this day.

My favorite Surival horror game of all time. RE4 destroyed the series. I don't care what anyone says. I don't carea bout ''sales numbers''. Heck, you can always release a garbage game and sell even MORE as long as your previous title was amazing : It's called expectations. When you expect one thing because of the previous title, it will sell even if you changed the formula to something worse. Im sure fallout 4 sold more than fallout 3. . Doesn't mean it was superior in any fashion.

Something about this games atmosphere goes unmatched with all the other games. Something with the gothic mansion to the grimy industrial labs beneath just stuck with me.

This is such a classic game I remember my brother would play this non stop back in the day lol 😂 I am sure the today’s general wouldn’t know what to make of this game lol

I wished they kept resident evil with this style of gameplay. I grew up with the very first RE1 on PS1 then I played the RE0 and RE1 on the GameCube. Seeing the amazing updated pre-rendered backgrounds blends in with the real characters. The lighting, shading was also awesome. I was amazed on how stunning it look and wish developers would still make games that are pre rendered. I know that it’s just a static image and 2D dimensional with preset camera angles. But some games are just much better played that way like the resident evil series. I’ve lost interest in other series. While resident evil 4 was great so did its graphics n style of gameplay.

It's not actually 4K, right? I thought the resolution capped at 1080p for this game without using mods.
