what about when there's a remainder? I just tried doing this with 62,381 divided b y 24 and I messed up somehow.
ОтветитьBut I've got a question; for example for a 4 digit number what if we get an odd dot in thousandth digit , where should we borrow 10 dots from or is there a different method for that?
ОтветитьSorry, I couldn’t follow at all. 😢
ОтветитьHi there this is a very good method actually I have dyscalculia so is there any more information there on this dot method for division I can multiply with the lettuce method perfectly just division is one of my enemies I need crack at
ОтветитьYou said it’s not applicable all the time how do you know when it is and when it isn’t
ОтветитьThis is so cool! Honestly, I think this is better than your other long-division tricks since this is simpler. Thanks so much!
Ответитьits faster than doing the classic division method 😭
Ответитьnot sure whats going on help
update i get it now
i tried it on 582%3 i got 20 but the correct answer is 0
This method can even be used for fractions where the answer is less than 1.
Take something simple like 3/4
First, we do 3 dots, obviously.
ooo
Now, we can't join 4 dots to 3, so, we already know that there are 0 connections for the first row. So, the first part of our answer is 0
We simply treat the 3 as 30 x 0.1, by adding 30 dots to a second row.
xxx
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Now, we can simply join 4 dots at a time from the 30 dots:
xxx
oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oo
We have 7 connections, with 2 remaining dots.
We can then convert these 2 dots representing 2 x 0.1, to 20 x 0.01, by adding a 3rd row of 20 dots.
xxx
oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo xx
oooooooooooooooooooo
Now, if we connect 4 dots at a time, we get:
xxx
oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oo
oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo
From this, we can see 0 connections from the first row, 7 connections from the second row, and 5 connections from the third row, therefore, 3/4 = 0.75
No mention of how decimal place is added and no examples if two numbers cannot be divided fully and have remainder.
ОтветитьHave you done a video on how to know where to do the decimal?
ОтветитьWhat do you do with the dots if there's a Zero as one of the numbers though?
ОтветитьSee my comments
Ответить11569 divide by 17 Karo jaldi from dots
ОтветитьBuy a calculator 🤯
ОтветитьWhat happens if the answer is not a whole number tho?
ОтветитьYou said thats where the decimal goes because its divided by a 3 digit number, but then the next problem is also a 3 digit number and the decimal is in a different spot???
ОтветитьHow to recognize when it is applicable
ОтветитьWhat if there is a remainder?
Ответитьif 2566/15=?
ОтветитьTysm! I really needed this because on Summer break I forgot how to divide because my 3rd grade teacher mostly only taught multiplication♡

Sir how to solve larg number s to small number bivider or larg number bivider to small number bivider.
Exp.987654÷3
Exp.187654÷2.
Plz elaborate
Wow so cool!! Thanks for the tricks
ОтветитьHi, can you revisit this and do another method for dealing with decimal point? Thanks
ОтветитьThx sir :)
ОтветитьWhat is this how did it
ОтветитьThanks but I'm having trouble. I got the wrong answer when I divided 250/13 using this method.
Can this trick work for every number?
I tried this with 312/13 and didn't get it.
ОтветитьI didn't understand the decimal place thing, can you explain?
Ответитьwhat about 21÷32?
ОтветитьThis is Probally one of many of Tecmath's dissertation/thesis on his masters and or doctorate degree? 🤔
The man reallly understand his math, considering the fact it might open the doors applying this methodology to physics? For example... Conversion of Dec # to Binary # and Hex #.
365 = 1 0110 1101 = 16D.
Just saying 🤔
This is too good to be true😂 i am still awstruck that this trick is really working
ОтветитьIt's all fun and games until the end of the video he said: "it's not applicable all the time." Hahaha
ОтветитьDon't understand your dots ..how you decide to connect dots.
ОтветитьStill don't understand 😹
ОтветитьThanks .
Ответитьyou didn't explain on what reason your are connecting the dots in term of the direction
ОтветитьJust discovered this channel and I love it already. Thank you
ОтветитьNeat trick. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьThat definitely is a new approach for me and super interesting at the same time understandable 👍
ОтветитьI want to thank you for being the best teacher ever!!!! Finally at the tender age of 49 I passed my maths
exam!!! You made maths so enjoyable for the first time ever... Many many thanks 😊
It is fun until decimal answer come
ОтветитьYour voice turns me on
ОтветитьHow can we do this (234÷12)
If you explain this. It would really beneficial to us.
hello, how could you solve 44016 : 56 for example? there is not enough dot in the first line!
ОтветитьSoo... how would i do 13,726/142 ??? It just doesn't seem to work.
Ответитьwhy does the decimal go there?
ОтветитьHow do you solve, for example, 113 / 7 using this method?
Ответить
